This was our 1st time at Ayres. It's a nice hotel for the price. The parking is free, free WiFi, free hot breakfast which consists of Pancakes or French Toast (they vary each day), Eggs, Potatoes, Sausages, Yogurt, Cereal, Fruit, assorted breads, Coffee, Juice & Milk. Get there early though because food goes fast.
They have the ART shuttle that takes you to Disney. $5 a day or they give you a discount if you're going for several days but it has to be consecutive days. It picks you up & drops you off at the entrance of hotel as well as the entrance of Disney. Can't get better than this.
The pool and hot tub are nice & clean. They also have a small gym and laundry facility. If you forget to take your own detergent, they sell small boxes there.
The room we chose had a king bed with a sofabed. The ac worked great! Always nice & cold in there, especially coming back from being out in the hot sun all day. They have a mini fridge, coffee maker, iron & board & hair dryer. As for the bed, it's extremely comfortable & we loved the down pillows. I thought the bathroom was a little on the small side but can't & wont complain because it was clean!!! Something I was dreading from other hotels. Housekeeping was wonderful each day. Always had a smile on their face...This was our 1st time at Ayres. It's a nice hotel for the price. Unfortunately that's where the attentiveness ended, with housekeeping or anyone that was doing maintence around the hotel. They were the only people who took the time, FOR US, to say Hi. I've read review after review about people fascinated with hospitality of the staff but with us, it wasn't like that at all from entering hotel upon arrival to the end when we checked out. We kept going in and out of hotel and not once did the staff in the front look up to say HI. I've read how Cory went out of his way to accommodate people but with us he was cold since day 1. Guess he didn't like us for whatever reason. On our last day there I went to ask where laundry facility was & the staff member was helping a lady check in. I was next in line to be helped. Well Cory was just standing there not doing anything & I purposely turned my head away to see if he'd say 'May I help you' well he didn't! He waited for his coworker to finish with the lady that was checking in. And she's the one who asked if I needed anything. I was upset. Then when we were leaving (at midnight) Matt was in the front and we told him we were checking out. He just said 'Ok you're all...More
