We have stayed at Gold Country three or four times in the last two years. We have always been pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and the service we received. The food in the Café is good and well priced. Room rates are competitive for the Oroville area and did include complementary breakfast until recently.

I have stayed here about six or seven times and I have never been disappointed. The Staff is always friendly, helpful, and always greeting with a smile. I haven't been the only one in my family to visit. I have three sisters and several cousins who have stayed at the hotel also. We have stayed for birthday parties in the area, tournaments in the area, business in the area, and as of late a family funeral, and the hotel has always been ready and accommodating. We have always left the hotel with a smile and saying to one another, " it's always a great stay here at Gold Country". Thank you to all the Staff.

I stayed three nights and it was a great experience for the most part. The parking/valet service arriving and departing were a fantastic help with the luggage and family gifts I had brought. Quinton was especially helpful on checkout. The front desk was staffed by friendly, informed staff as was the cashier desk. Toilet handle was broken and it took maintenance two days before it was fixed on my last day there. The staff in the café seem to talk a lot amongst each other and have better things to do than provide service. Even with the built in tip the room service charge seems to triple the actual cost of any item. The food was very good. Rooms nice for the price and the bathrooms worth twice the price for sure!

I was very happy with the service we received for my daughters wedding venue Paullete was the best she made my daughters dreams come true without a hitch. She made sure that we had everything we needed without asking. Bobby the valet was amazing he always had our car ready and unloaded and loaded every time, he also has a great smile and attitude for all the people he helped. Last but not least Ashley in reservations was great she helpped get everyone that came to the wedding in there rooms even though we were alittle confused on who went where she made it all good. Gold country is the place to have a wedding if your looking for a place.thank you agian Paulette, Bobby and Ashley for making my babies dreams come true we couldnt of done this without you.And to top it off we won $200.00 walking out the doors woo hoo Gold Country Casino

We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out... The entire TEAM pulls together to make sure that Weddings go off without a hitch. Paulette is one (1) of our VERY special associates who takes great pride in deliering a "Once in a liftime experience"! She knows better than anyone how important it is to deliver a memorable event. As for Ashley, Bobby and the rest of us, we'll be ready to make the next Wedding or Event special while always delivering a sincer "Spirit of Hospitality". I have stayed here several times visiting family in the area. The rooms are great, particularly the bathrooms. However, this time the customer service was majority lacking. We were meeting some friends and wanted two extra chairs to play a board game comfortably, simple, reasonable request. We were told no, there are only allowed to be three people in a one bed hotel room, and more chairs implies more people. What a joke. We are here visiting my inlaws, so does that mean only one of them can come in at a time. Please. Also staff at the cafe were very rude. We are very disappointed. For as much as we pay, a few chairs should not be a problem.

I have visited Gold Country many times and always use valet services for parking the car and luggage delivery and pickup. I have found that all of the valet staff provides excellent services. The suites are spacious ..with views of surrounding hillsides, jaccuzzi, ..rubber duck.. shower...huge bathroom and beds are comfortable (four pillows) refrigerater...giant tv...writing desk .wi fi... just missing a microwave...but they have a great buffet, cafes and a five star steak house. The staff are so friendly and helpful...case in point Eddina has been so attentive that she brings me green tea bags and honey and remembers me the next time were here. We feel very pampered its a great escape with the casino and a bowling alley bingo ...Lake Oroville close by we recommend it highly.
