“Pacific Grove Shoreline”

Pacific Grove Oceanview Boulevard
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 25 November 2013

The shoreline of Pacific Grove is fascinating. The waves are often huge; she growth on the shoreline is fascinating and there are a variety of interesting homes just across the street from the bay! You'll want to see it more than once.

We biked this trail in the evening and it was busy. Tourists were walking, a group of Army soldiers were running, and others were biking. The trail is good for all ages since it is flat. The rocky shoreline and occasional trees make great photo opportunities. If you rent a bike in Monterey, I recommend heading towards Pacific Grove, including Asilomar State Park which has some of the best views in the area.

Wanting to get away from it all? Take a stroll along the waterfront on Oceanview Boulevard. Awesome views, waves crashing over your heads, otters playing off shore, seals basking on the beach. You'll probably find yourself clicking more snaps than you've done in a long time.

We spent a week in a little cottage on Oceanview Blvd just south of Lovers' Point summer 2013. This road is filled with bicyclists, walkers, locals, and tourists. We watched seals and otters from our front window for hours. We sat on the benches and enjoyed the sea breeze. We even had one day where two gray whales were frolicking in the bay. Amazing piece of heaven. The walking trail goes for miles in both directions from here. Do not miss the opportunity to relax and breathe in the wonders of the sea from here.
