“So Yummy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

We love going to Peppers and bringing visitors with us. We always have a great meal, the best salsa/chips in the area, and the specials are always great. The restaurant often has a line, it's so good, so call ahead for reservations or be prepared to walk around the cool neighboring shops for a bit.

“Bland food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2014

The menu is inticing with such great choices. I ordered the snapper Veracruz. It tasted like they cooked the fish separately then poured Rotel tomatoes for the sauce. The guac did not appear homemade.

“Nice place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014

Our server was sweet and the food was spicy! You should definitely check this place out if you find yourself in Pacific Grove. A volunteer at the aquarium recommended we come here. He said it's a big locals spot and I can see why.

“The "In Place" when in Pacific Grove”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

When visiting Carmel, the 17 Mile Drive, or the other sites on the Monterey Peninsula, you can't go wrong if you visit Pepper's one of the "In places for Locals" in Pacific Grove. Pepper's has a comprehensive Latin American menu, great drinks, great appetizers. Whenever I visit relatives in the area, we always make a point of eating at Peppers. This last Mother's Day, we had a meal worthy for Mothers on their special day. Great service! Great meal! I had Beef enchiladas, a guacamole taco and chile rellenos. The rest of family had various tacos, burritos, and tamales. All excellent.
Reservations are recommended, but not mandatory. You may have to wait 15 minutes without reservations. Great hospitality.
