“CREATIVE dishes”
Reviewed 28 March 2013

Not just the same old Thai food but creative, seasonal, fresh fare. In an old Pacific Grove house with primarily local cliental.

“Consistent Delicious”
Reviewed 14 March 2013

My daughter lives in Pebble Beach. I have been enjoying this area for eight years. This is one of our favorite go to's. I always get the eggplant special with shrimp and I always take half home for tomorrow. The noodles here are delicious. Pad Thai cannot be beat. If you like Thai- it is excellent here. In a converted old home with the fireplace in the living room running all the time- it is small and fills fast. I always call ahead for prime dinner time seating.

“Nice Lunch Place, well spiced, not overcooked veggies.”
Reviewed 17 December 2012

The food is well-prepared, fresh meat, with tasty curry and chili and the perfect amount of heat for me (I like it pretty spicy), all very good. I also like their Thai iced tea. Their dishes aren't swimming in thick coconut milk like so many Thai restaurants and the chicken is always very tasty. I appreciate the brown rice for a $1 upcharge, worth it. The restaurant is a little stucco house set back from the street which also has outdoor seating. Good value for lunch. It lacks ambiance with old carpet and also is a little musty smelling sometimes as it's pretty old and needs a coat of paint and some TLC.

“Mediocre Food-Keep looking if you need Thai on the Peninsula”
Reviewed 7 November 2012

Well the price is right, the location good, service is friendly but the food is just mediocre. We had the spicy basil noodles, duck soup and chicken curry. They were all ok but seemed to suffer a bit from a lack of the freshness of vegetables that you expect to find in these dishes. I thought that there would be lemongrass somewhere but never could find it. Also the noodles had seen better days-were they out of a package? hmm-I guess we have to keep looking for authentic Thai on the Peninsula.

“Middle of the road”
Reviewed 23 July 2012

Run of the mill Thai over in Pacific Grove. Fairly typical for Thai on the Peninsula. Low priced and the food is so so. Not really bad but nothing to be excited about. We have tried it twice, and the service was poor one time and ok the next. The sauces seem to be toned down so far that they come out very bland, without any zing.
