Description: At GRILL-A-BURGER, Palm Desert, we have a passion for hamburgers. We make our trendsetting burgers the old-fashioned way using only the finest and freshest ingredients available. Our hand crafted, grilled-to-order, moist and juicy patties are made daily from fresh (never frozen) 100% all-natural USDA Inspected Choice Beef, free of artificial hormones, antibiotics, and other things that don't belong in hamburgers. And we have nice buns, too! They are freshly baked daily at a local bakery. Buns are slightly toasted and garnished with garden crisp lettuce, hand-sliced red onion, vine-ripened tomato and sliced kosher pickles. Our homemade French fries are never frozen and are only made with fresh Idaho Russet potatoes that are hand cut, double-fried and lightly salted without any processing steps in between. And we change our zero trans fat oil every day! Clean oil = crisp, great-tasting fries! Our authentic soda fountain milkshakes and malts are hand-dipped, hand spun and made with premium vanilla bean ice cream, whole milk and natural flavorings. All served in a place that considers our environment by using food packaging that is all natural and made from annually renewable resources by buying from as many local vendors as possible and, of course, by using energy efficient equipment and recycling. We hope this is everything that you have been looking for in a burger place and MORE! Again, welcome and enjoy! The place has a pretty funky vibe of random decor, at least it kind of looks like a Hawaiian BBQ that was taken over.
We had a group of 3. Service was pretty quick.
I had the Mock burger (I guess it was supposed to be the Big Mack).
I though it was ok. The 1/2 fries 1/2 onion rings basket was good.

Our nephew found this place a few years ago and we debated whether it could beat Hamburger Mary's in PS and I have to say it probably does for quality of food. The atmosphere is a bit strip mall but the variety and quality of the meal is great.

The milkshakes are a must, the variety of burgers is amazing. I had the blue cheese salad with a burger patty on it with melted blue cheese and it was super tasty.

A good variety of non burgers as we'll including a number of good salads or if you want the burger taste without the bun they will wrap it in lettuce for you.

If you are into Burgers, you should not miss the opportunity to visit and taste at this special vintage Burger Joint. The burger offerings are extensive, and delicious and the fries are amongst the best i've ever had. The waitress was hilarious and entertaining and made for an all round retro experience.

After flying from Vermont to California, I was up for some protein; my mother winters in Palm Desert and her friends suggested we try Grill-A-Burger.

Long story short: The large Devil's revenge burger is sinfully good! The burger comes with Serrano chilies, carmelized chipotle onions, pepper jack cheese, hardwood smoked bacon, habernero relish, et al! The sweet potato fries were great as was the deluxe mini-burger.

If you're near Palm Desert and have a yearning for a burger, this is the place to go!

Probably one of the best hamburgers I have in long, long time. Cooked just as requested. Generous amount of meat, with good trimmings all at a reasonable price. My wife had fish tacos, which are not on the menu, and felt that they were the best she had anywhere.
