Description: At GRILL-A-BURGER, Palm Desert, we have a passion for hamburgers. We make our trendsetting burgers the old-fashioned way using only the finest and freshest ingredients available. Our hand crafted, grilled-to-order, moist and juicy patties are made daily from fresh (never frozen) 100% all-natural USDA Inspected Choice Beef, free of artificial hormones, antibiotics, and other things that don't belong in hamburgers. And we have nice buns, too! They are freshly baked daily at a local bakery. Buns are slightly toasted and garnished with garden crisp lettuce, hand-sliced red onion, vine-ripened tomato and sliced kosher pickles. Our homemade French fries are never frozen and are only made with fresh Idaho Russet potatoes that are hand cut, double-fried and lightly salted without any processing steps in between. And we change our zero trans fat oil every day! Clean oil = crisp, great-tasting fries! Our authentic soda fountain milkshakes and malts are hand-dipped, hand spun and made with premium vanilla bean ice cream, whole milk and natural flavorings. All served in a place that considers our environment by using food packaging that is all natural and made from annually renewable resources by buying from as many local vendors as possible and, of course, by using energy efficient equipment and recycling. We hope this is everything that you have been looking for in a burger place and MORE! Again, welcome and enjoy! Went to this establishment after reading so many positive reviews. Perhaps expectations where too high but found the the service to be less than attentive and the burger to be less than flavourful. It was a particularly busy afternoon which kept the servers hustling but someone could have asked if we needed a drink refill or how the food tasted. The sweet potato fries could use some chipotle dip. The burger was a generous size as where the basket of fries/onion rings combo.

this is such a great joint. the menu is awesome, as are the burgers, the fries and the onion rings. I wish they'd open in Los Angeles, they would be turning people away. It is a gem.

Best burger in a long while! Not only cooked to perfection but quality of toppings was great! Kids' menu makes it easy to take whole family...the fries, including the sweet potato fries, and onion rings are terrific. Get there early or count on a wait! Service is great, just lots of people in small space.

The place has a pretty funky vibe of random decor, at least it kind of looks like a Hawaiian BBQ that was taken over.
We had a group of 3. Service was pretty quick.
I had the Mock burger (I guess it was supposed to be the Big Mack).
I though it was ok. The 1/2 fries 1/2 onion rings basket was good.

Our nephew found this place a few years ago and we debated whether it could beat Hamburger Mary's in PS and I have to say it probably does for quality of food. The atmosphere is a bit strip mall but the variety and quality of the meal is great.

The milkshakes are a must, the variety of burgers is amazing. I had the blue cheese salad with a burger patty on it with melted blue cheese and it was super tasty.

A good variety of non burgers as we'll including a number of good salads or if you want the burger taste without the bun they will wrap it in lettuce for you.
