If you like art don't miss this smaller museum with amazing pieces. A true gift to the community. We saw works for top artists like Lee Kasner and Ansel Adams.

Not many exhibits, but what they had was beautifully placed. The sculpture garden in the back was peaceful, with lovely small water falls. Sat in the garden for a while and enjoyed the peace and calm. L

My husband and I came here just to walk around the small outdoor sculpture garden, which has no fee. There aren't many sculptures, but some of the ones there were exquisite, others just downright interesting. It's a beautiful area with natural landscaping, with many plants identified, and nice water features. We easily walked it in 15-20 minutes.

Definitely worth a visit, especially the sculpture garden. This branch of the museum is small with a limited number of artworks on display. Because of those limitations, I would suggest a Friday afternoon/evening no charge visit to the gardens and then the gallery. Staff are friendly and welcoming and happy to answer any questions about the gallery and its collection. Kudos to the local philanthropists who supported the building's conversion from visitor centre to art gallery.

The museum is very small and can be viewed in under a hour. The art work is contemporary and very diverse in quality and content. The outdoor sculptures and garden are well done and well lighted. We went on free Friday, which happens every couple of weeks. It wasn't crowded and they had outdoor entertainment. We didn't see any docents, but there was a man at the door handing out brochures that explained the exhibit. Overall, a disappointment when compared to the sister museum in Palm Springs, but worth a visit. Be aware that at night the outdoor lighting is very subdued and the walkways are not level in places. If this museum could be expanded to include more local artist or add additional displays it would have received a better grade from us. Parking is free.
