Huge, spacious and level pads. Beautifully appointed grounds with two pools and a fitness facility. Polite service personnel.

We only stayed one night, but would be nice for a longer stay.

I would definitely stop here again!

We just spent 3 nights in a elite site (#688) and overall had a really enjoyable time. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and very green! The sites are ok, some are definitely better than others with nice big shade trees and the way they are facing to avoid the sun in the late afternoon and the sites located down the small side streets could pose a challenge to back into.
Just like the other reviews, the noise from the trains and the freeway is very loud. The premium and deluxe sites get the brunt of it, and even though the elite and platinum sites are on the other end of the park, you still hear the noise. I would suggest getting a good pair of earplugs!
We went to the happy hour on Friday night where they had wine, beer and margaritas. There was no food left by the time we arrived, so if your planning on eating, get there as soon as it starts!
We also went to both pools, and the big pool is very nice. Lounge chairs and even cabanas available first come.
The best fitness/gym center I have been to in a RV park. Cardio equipment, machine and free weights and also they have small towels and ice water!
This park would be fantastic if it wasn't for the noise. But worth a visit for sure!

This is our third year in a row spending at least a month here at Emerald Desert. It is a very well maintained clean property. The landscaping with lots of palms & flowers is beautiful. The landscaping crew works full time on maintenance including mowing the grass that is everywhere. The concrete pads are large & level. Your garbage/recycling is picked up from your site every morning. The pools (1 large, 1 small) are always sparkling clean as are the spas (2 outdoor, 1 indoor). The clubhouse is lovely with a stage & seating, fireplace & tv and a billards/game room. Most of the staff is friendly & helpful. A few of the reception staff could use better customer service skills. The only downside is the train & freeway noise. I don't think there is spot in the park that wouldn't be affected, the train runs along the property and it is frequent.

Room Tip: We had friends stay at the condos last year. They are clean & fairly well equipped, but are so...

This is a well appointed park but it is noisy, A railroad mainline literally runs along the east wall of the park and I 10 parallels the rail line. We were initially in site 27 and the traffic noise was so loud you could not sit outside your rig and converse at all. This is not a park for an active individual, if you golf it it probably what people come for but there have to be parks that charge less with more amenities, activities and are Quiet. The staff are somewhat accommodating but are not friendly at least not the kind of client service I would expect for a park that charges 80 plus $ per night.

Granted that most of the folks at this RV resort come for the season, it didn't surprise us that we got a very BAD spot in the park for our 2-night stay. Noisy: our spot (#27) was on the busiest street (Frank Sinatra) and we also listened to the VERY close trains all night. Like I said, we were not expecting a "primo" spot for our $75/night, but did expect better from the staff. Doing laundry the first morning, we noticed everyone else used a card that could be pre-loaded for use in the laundry. Sure there were a couple of "quarters only" machines but we were not even offered the card at check in. We were also not offered the necessary (for the park) recycling bags, and so I called the front desk "concierge" to have some delivered, yet that never happened. These may seem like small quibbles, but for $75 bucks a night - come on! I certainly expected a nicer experience.

Three friends and I stayed here last year and had a wonderful experience. What a difference a year makes. This year we were in Tuscany and it was a dog The list of deficiencies for this unit is: Filthy carpets so old and dirty you wouldn't walk on them barefooted. Bathroom faucet dixtures so old the handles just swivle. Toilet seat so l oose it was a hazard to sit. Ice maker didn't work, electrical outlets so old no plug would stay seated. WI FI virtually non-existent it was so slow. Cracked tile on kitchen counter and floors. So much filth between carpets and baseboards it was disgusting. No washer or dryer in unit. No guarantee of which unit you will actually get upon arrival, regarldess of which one you are assigned when making reservation. Bed configuration is hap-hazard and may not fit your needs. Unit smelled moldy every time we opened the front door the blinds at the french doors do not open, therefore the doors can't be opened. One guest had allergies from the smell. Would never stay there again, no matter how lovely the grounds, the pool the spa or the gym are, it is just to filthy and these places need to be remodeled from top to bottom. Definitely not worth the amount they charge per night for the condo's. It is our belief that this place is under new management this year because of the huge departure from our experience last year. Desparately in need of renovation. Rather sad when you think about how close this place is to all the local attractions.

Very we'll kept Rv resort just off the interstate. Very beautiful grounds and nicely appointed amenities. Only negative would be the close proximity to the constant train traffic. Oh we'll I will take the train noise in return for another night stay. Really great heated pool and two whirlpools with plenty if seating for the guests. Also two nice putting greens and plenty of activity for those that want to mingle. One if the best places to park your Rv.
