We were greeted with smiles, kindness, and an eagerness to make our stay relaxing and stress-free. We were given the large Hacienda Suite with the beautiful large yard that our dogs enjoyed. Access to the snack food and drinks in guest kitchen helped make us feel right at home. Thanks for an incredible weekend!

It's really like staying in the guest cottage behind the home of a good friend. I realize that sounds very cliche but it's true. I've stayed at many of the better-known men's resorts in Palm Springs and this is the first place that made me feel like I was at a home away from home. I found the rooms to be spacious, nicely-appointed, tastefully-decorated as well as clean and quiet. I've already recommended the place to several friends and I intend to visit again later this year.

The B and B is the perfect place for any stay in Palm Springs. Just the right distance from the bar and restaurant scene; just the right mix of desert mountain views and lush foliage surrounding the inn and pool; just the right quiet morning with coffee and a book on your patio or by the pool and then an afternoon cocktail while floating on the pool; just the right pace to get away for the perfect weekend or longer if you are so lucky.

This was our third visit to Casa Ocotillo, and on this trip we stayed a full week. We had decided on an earlier trip that Palm Springs was going to be a place to buy a second home (with it being our eventual retirement location), so we returned to the Casa to do more condo hunting as well as to relax and enjoy the desert lifestyle. As always, Brian and Vic attended to our every need. They've even added a nice new feature to their offerings: you can order a very reasonably priced catered lunch from a local deli, which is delivered right to the kitchen that is attached to our suite (the Brokeback). It's little things like this that make Casa Ocotillo so special.

As on previous visits, we spent some time visiting the sights (restaurants, galleries, shops, the casino) in the Palm Springs area -- with excellent guidance and suggestions provided by Brian and Vic. But mostly on this trip we hung out by the pool (or the hot tub in the evenings). We had the property to ourselves for mid-week, but for both of the weekends we got to renew acquaintances with gay couples we had met previously at the Casa, or to meet new couples. As we observed on our previous visits, the dynamic that develops among the couples adds to the charged atmosphere that we always experience at Casa Ocotillo. Some travellers talk about the charge in the air that they experience at Niagra Falls. We think there's more charge in the desert air over Casa Ocotillo.

We have travelled to many resort locations over the years and this gives us a good basis for stating that Casa Ocotillo is a remarkable value -- outstanding accommodations and service for a remarkably modest price. We're already making plans to spend the end-of-year holidays with Brian and Vic at Casa Ocotillo.

My partner and I just returned from an all too brief weekend getaway at Casa Ocotillo.
My partner never wanted to stay at a gay guesthouse in Palm Springs in the first place UNTIL I showed him the photos on the website. Once he saw the photos and the great summer rates, he agreed to go for a weekend stay. Hmmm, he was the first one to say, "I don't want to leave" when it was time for us to make our journey home.
I honestly don't know what I can add to the already glowing reviews other than to say that we felt so at home and comfortable at this lovely establishment. Vic and Brian made us feel welcome and were gracious and fun hosts.
We brought our 10 year old Pomeranian who was delighted by her gentleman caller who came to visit frequently.
As I said to my partner as we were leaving, "I think you've fallen in love with Palm Springs just a little!".
It was sad to leave but the good news is we only live 2.5 hours away and WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Wonderful accomodations with a beautiful sunken shower with rainfall shower head. Owners Brian and Vic are attentive without being intrusive even recommending great restaurants and booking the appropriate reservations. The catered lunch from a local delicatessan is included in the room rate and is quite tasty.
