“From Glitz to High-Brow”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

The Palm Springs Art Museum has a great collection of contemporary art. Really well displayed and curated with a good cross-section of "names" from Picasso to Warhol to Early Native American Pottery, (which is not contemporary is it)? to southwestern themed art by well-knows artists. It is not an enormous museum but one that requires at least a couple of hours especially if you include the great cafe for lunch which has a lovely outdoor area (with necessary shade)!

“a treat for lovers of modern art”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

A fantastic building in the desert that can combine the design with the natural light. The exhibits are absolutely fantastic, ranging from painting to the sculpture and some amazing glass works.
The staff is an amazing kindness, making this museum a must for anyone who loves modern art.

“Loved this museum and it's theater as well”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

We went to this museum numerous times (Second Sundays are free and Thursdays are free), the exhibits were well executed and interesting - it has three floors, so better to visit a couple times. Also took in a couple plays at the Annenberg Theater there which were extremely well done.

Free museum entrance on Thursdays.

So glad I convinced boyfriend to go, both of us enjoyed many of the sculptures, paintings, and the Chihuly glass sculpture most of all.

“Good to see”

I'm not a huge fan of Modern Art. But, it was great to get out of the heat, and learn a little something.
