Reviewed 6 July 2014

Fantastic display of aircraft and interesting storyboards on battles and individuals. Talking with the docents, who were actual combat pilots, was a great experience!!!

“Great Museum”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

The Museum is located next to the PS airport. They have some great plans from previous wars. They also have a few planes that you can tour for a small fee that goes towards renovation of another plane. They have many people waling around to answer questions and tell you their stories of war. We met a WWII vet. Great experience.

“Great Air Museum”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

We loved the museum.
Whenever possible and if there is an air museum we try to hit them anywhere we may be.
The planes here are nicely displayed and well restored.
There were many volunteers to pass along their tales and stories of the planes.
The day of our visit there was a memorial being held for a long time benefactor of the museum. Some of the displays were not available in their usual places because the building was being used as an auditorium for the service. There were many older veterans and their families in attendance. In true military fashion each of them was announced and saluted as they entered. It was really a wow for us to see it.
Take a day and spend it with some of the aircraft and a few of the people that served so well to preserve our way of life. You will enjoy it all.

“Unique Aircraft Viewing”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

A must stop for Aviators, and anyone interested in History. This unique flying museum, has planes from both the European and Pacific theaters . Unlike many museums, at this one you can get up close and personal with the Aircraft, as they are not roped off.

A very nice Gift Store is available, with all kinds to things to tempt your pocket book. The Palm Springs Air Museum in definitely worth a visit.
