We booked A Place in the Sun for a 3 night stay as part of a trip in 2010. I chose this place after reading the many positive reviews on TA.
Suffice to say that we loved it so much, met some fabulous friends who meet up here on an annual basis, we just had to return this year to repeat the experience,
We booked 7 nights this time in a one bedroom unit and were very happy with the accommodation. Beds were comfy, fully equipped kitchen, nice sitting area with dining table and chairs and our own little back garden to sit in. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, Rosario took very good care of us and I think she does a full spring clean on a daily basis. Big thanks to Rosario.
Pool towels are supplied and can be exchanged at reception area. Continental breakfast is available at reception for those who wish to use it.
The landscaping is beautiful, the garden pool has the added benefits of mister system; nice sun beds a Jacuzzi and mini golf. The gazebo is supplied with daily newspapers for guests and you can use the BBQ if you wish.
We made full use of it on the Saturday and incredible array of food was produced by all the friends in the group.
It was lovely to come back; we were so touched that Kyle actually remembered us from last year. He was just great, helped us in with all our bags and seemed genuinely pleased to see us. He is a really nice man, totally unintrusive but more than happy to help out with local information or spend a few minutes having a chat with you if you want.
This is such a brilliant place that we rarely left the premises last year and this year was no different.
Really hoping we can go again next year.
