Our all-adult family group found this rental to be just as advertised. Everyone wanted an open living/kitchen/dining area, lots of bedrooms, more than one TV, internet access and a hot tub/pool.This property more than delivered on all counts. Each bedroom -- huge master, second bedroom with en suite, and two additional bedrooms each had its own TV. One of the bedrooms had a smaller, low bed suitable for kiddos or, in our case, our 80-something mom, who was glad she didn't have to climb up into a high bed.
The center of the house included a very well-equipped kitchen, large dining table, and a living area with yet another large-screen TV. We pulled off an entire Christmas meal using mostly the pots/pans/gadgets already available. Unlike some properties, none of the little things you always find yourself looking for were missing -- we found coffee filters, oven mitts, grilling tools, salt and pepper, even reusable grocery bags for the trip to Albertson's just a half mile away.
The big draw was the backyard, which was beautiful and used daily by our family -- hot tub and pool, putting green, fire pit, and ample seating for just sitting out with coffee or a book. We even grilled out one night! Despite these amenities, because of the central location, we were not homebodies. The house is close to downtown and to area attractions, like the tramway. It's also very convenient to the airport -- just a 10-minute drive. And we barely noticed the flight traffic, as PSP is not exactly the world's busiest!
Our only feedback was a small glitch at check-in, when the door code didn't work and the alarm, which was not supposed to be set, went off. The property management folks were extremely responsive, though, and nothing remotely like that happened the rest of the week. It was overall a wonderfully positive experience, and we would stay here again!
