5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 December 2012

We stayed in this lovely inn for four nights in December and it could not have been a better experience. Our room (Room 3) was cozy, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and bookshelf. The kitchen had everything we needed. Barb and Chris were so friendly and accommodating. Highlights were the saltwater pool, wonderfully warm on those cold nights, outdoor fire pit, and the hot tub. The small property is wonderfully landscaped, so relaxing and inviting, plus walking distance to everything.

Room Tip: Each room is different so look at pictures on the website. We loved #3, which is light and has a gr...

Stayed at the C.I.for a couple of days recently and I can honestly say we hated to leave. This eight room (All ground level and poolside!!) Inn is the ideal place for couple looking for a quiet and cozy getaway. Barb and Chris (Owners) could not have been nicer or more accomodating. We stayed in room 7 and it was perfect in every way (Loved the decor). Our fellow guests were very nice as well and were the same as us, wanted a quiet, comfortable place without stairs, long walks to the room or a bunch of kids running around. The neighborhood location is ideal too almost right at the foothills and is a great area for a morning walk. Also within walking distance is Palm Canyon Drive full of restaurants and shops. To put it simply, we would come back again and again and again...

After 2 years we finally made it again to the Coyote Inn. This time i brought my parents along.
The stay was as wonderful as the last time. We all enjoyed the time there very much.
It's so relaxing at the pool, or having a chat with Chris and/or Barb. They both are so nice and kind.
Hope to find the time soon again to go there...

Just got back from a stay at the Coyote Inn. This place is really special. Small, quaint, quiet, well taken care of, great hosts, nice pool and hot tub, very close to the fun part of Palm Springs....and reasonably priced We'll be back.

I just returned from spending 3 nights at the Coyote Inn. I stayed in room #7 a Garden Studio room. Everything was exactly as shown in the online photos, immaculately clean and nicely decorated. Even though the temperature was in the high 80's there was no need to use the air con. Just open the front and back doors and turn on the overhead fan and the room immediately cooled off. I enjoyed BBQing dinner on the courtyard bbq and sitting around the gas fire pit having an evening drink with other guests. The free long distance calling to Canada and the US was a plus. Chris and Barb are very hospitable, and always ensure that everything is in order, you never see them pass through the Courtyard that they don't stop to adjust a table or chair, or straighten out the selection of free daily newspapers. An interesting and enjoyable group of other guests from the UK, Germany, Seattle, and San Francisco. A short walk to the Main Street, casino and the art museum. If I am ever back in Palm springs I will definitely be staying with Chris & Barb.

Room Tip: Check with Chris or Barb on room amenities, some rooms have full stoves others only have hot plate...

After along flight from the Uk and 3 hours in horrendous traffic in LA we were greeted by the Little Paradise that is the Coyote Inn. We had two nights here which (as Barb said prior to our arrival} was not enough! We were met by Barb and Chris, the owners and after a quick and efficient check in were shown our delightful rooms. Comfortable, spotlessly clean complete with mini kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and all the necessary for a good meal or snack. Coffee, milk etc. Bathrooms with all the necesary toiletries and an abundance of towels and facecloths. Tv and Wi Fi were provided along with gas fire and extensive library! A fantastic outdoor eating area around the pool with an outdoor grill for customers use. The pool was beautifully warm and the hot tub was great after hours on a plane. In the evening the lights added to the charm. Home made cookies in the afternoon were a bonus and the numerouse hummingbirds mesmerising!

The Inn is only a short distance from town in a lovely quiet area. There are plenty of place to eat if you want to eat out or just wander into town and soak up the atmosphere and have a drink.

Chris and Barb were the perfect hosts, helpful and always available without being intrusive. They provided helpful information about the area and the Aerial Tramway and a card for us to use at the supermarket which gave a disount, always useful!

The Coyote Inn is a lovely place to relax and unwind after some sightseeing. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Many thanks to Barb and Chris for a great stay.

Room Tip: We had rooms 3 and 4 which were great.

My new husband and I had our flights cancelled for our Honeymoon in Italy due to the Lufthansa strike. Needless to say I was beyond sad and nothing was going to cheer me up...My sweet husband "forced" me to do a "mini-moon" until we can reschedule our big trip and he chose the Coyote Inn. It was exactly what we needed. The owners were wonderful...The room was adorable and romantic. The pool was WONDERFUL, clean and relaxing. The Inn itself has a wonderful view of the mountain in the background, hummingbirds racing around the property...It oozes tranquility. Absolutely charming. It's also an easy walk to yummy restaurants...so you can be car free if you choose. (As an LA girl, I like a break from driving.) Fantastic place to stay! I would and will return! Thank you Coyote Inn for easing my Honeymoon sorrows:)
