“Friendly, clean hotel with lots to offer”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. What I enjoyed the most was the fantastic staff and how friendly they were. The pools were great as was the hot tub - had fun lounging around after shopping! Tons of restaurants nearby. Breakfast had lots to offer with tables outside to enjoy the view of the mountains. Green space as well to play with little kids or kick back on. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: ask for courtyard view!!!

We spent four nights at this Comfort Inn recently. We picked the hotel as we had good experiences with other Comfort Inns but this property did not measure up. The room was very small with tired furnishings in need of an update, and a shower that needed repair. The breakfast offered was meager (much bette at Hampton Inns we've stayed at) but worst was the extremely poor quality of the wi-fi. It did not reach our room and, when we spoke to the desk about the problem, we were advised to use our tablet in the lobby for better reception. Yet, even there it was weak. I need this for my work, and Comfort Inn did not deliver. As to positives, the location is terrific -- a three minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants, the room were clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff helpful. Now if they'd invest in updates -- including better Internet, and decent breakfasts, we'd sing its praises.

Room Tip: Pick another hotel.

We are stuck in Room 338 right this minute. The door and window is open to try and get rid of the cat pee smell in our room. We called the front desk, no answer, we went down there and told the Manager on Duty "Ron" that our room is uninhabitable due to the strong odor of cat pee. He told us there were no other rooms to move us into and said that the people he just checked in were taking the last one. We were told he couldn't give us a "reduction" in our room but he could give us some nasty "mango" air freshener to try cover it up. We asked him to come up and smell for himself but he said he couldn't leave the front desk. All we were given was the name of the other managers "Chris" and "Kelly" who would be here tomorrow and then..... while we stood right there a new "guest" walked up and Ron said .. Checking In? Why did he lie to us and leave us in this disgusting room? We are now going to have to leave the door and window open and take turns trying to rest and breathe fresh air while we wait to get out of this hell hole. No customer service and a complete disregard for a BIG problem. We can't go anywhere else.. There aren't any rooms available.. Wait.. Maybe we should just sleep in our car after we have given them our money.. Almost 200.00 for this is a crime.

Paid under $100 during high season. Which is great for the location within walking distance of Downtown PSP. Rooms are OLD. Mattress was terrible. Pillows even worse. Cheap foam crap. WiFi was lousy in my second floor room near the pool. Walls and ceiling/floors are paper thin. If you are sensitive to this kind of thing, look elsewhere. A/C barely kept room cool and it was only 85 degrees during the day. No hallways, all outside doors. Super lame "fitness room". Straight out of the seventies. On the high side, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was alright with the standard waffle iron and fake eggs. Did I mention the room was cheap? Stay a night and then move on.

Room Tip: "Good" room?? Ha!

We stayed for last years Coachella Music and Arts Festival. This hotel was less than a mile away from our shuttle pick-up/drop-off point. It is inexpensive in comparison to the usual high rates at neighboring properties. Complimentary breakfast in the AM, outdoor pool, and exceptional service. Especially on a high business weekend like that. The rooms could be renovated, although many of the Palm Springs hotels are old fashioned like that so its not horrible for the area. They could just use some cosmetics. Nice working Fridge and Microwave in our room and the bathroom was clean and spacious for two. Easy parking too. Close to restaurants, bars, "downtown" area, CVS, and I think close to the spa and casino too? Great hotel for Coachella if you have a shuttle pass.

Room Tip: Get a room on the first floor if you have a lot of luggage. Elevators are tiny and outdated. Luggage...

I spent 3 nights recently while attending a conference. The hotel is in a great location, short walking distance from downtown restaurants. The hotel is showing its age, but it is clean and the staff is very friendly. The Wi-Fi in the room worked well. The hotel does not have a business center where you can print your boarding passes, however the staff is very happy to print them for you.

This is a decent place to stay if your only staying a few nights.

We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were small and a bit old but they were clean and had everything you would need. The breakfast was great with plenty to eat including hot breakfast foods. Pretty good considering it was only 2 stars.

The best thing about this place is the location as you are 1 street away from Downtown. So you are close to all the restaurants, bars, supermarket and shops.

Overall we were happy with this accommodation.
