“Great Views”
Reviewed 4 August 2012

The views were wonderful. The temperature was cool even on a hot July day. Trails were a bit worn down, and the facilities kind of old-fashioned.

“I love this mountain”
Reviewed 3 August 2012

I've hiked up here many times over the past 2 and a half years. I've been to the summit several times and hiked almost every trail on the mountain. I almost always see dear, 17 on one hike. It's a great escape from the desert. The tram ride is a bit expensive if you're arriving from the Palm Springs side but seasonal passes are available.

“take a sweater”
Reviewed 28 July 2012

just saying that shorts and t-shirt don't cut it even in late July.
Who would think that in the 100 degree desert you would need a sweater, but trust me when I tell you that the top of the mountain is chilly.
