We only spent one night at the Los Arboles and would definitely stay there again for the fact
that the rooms were clean, and the hotel had all we needed - a great restauant, bar and, of course, the pool. The hotel would remind you of a western type of place with wood beams
in the ceiling and pretty art inthe rooms. We got our deal on Bloomspot, and with our room we
received the best guaqcamole I have ever tasted and two quite potent margaritas. Such a deal, but next time we'll pay full price...I liked it.

Room Tip: Room 139 is in the back away from noise and has a fireplace right above the huge tub.

Very quaint boutique hotel with a small pool, spa and comfy chaise lounges...Nice Mexican restaurant next door which also provided poolside food or in your room. A little disorganized on the lobby/restaurant side but very friendly (lobby lost our certificate so they wouldn't give us complimentary margaritas we had on our gift certificate; waitress forgot our order at pool etc....) Suggestions to improve rating: Give better instructions on checking in as to amenities and housekeeping etc so we know what to expect... Add a snack bar or vending machine for water bottles/nuts/pretzels... as there is no store or deli without walking several blocks. Need full length mirror in room; maybe magnifying mirror. Could use softer blankets & sheets. AC/Heating system very noisy. Walls VERY thin, so don't put quiet couple next to loud singles!

Room Tip: Ask for an end room ... not near loud partiers or the pool gate which slams :)

I would highly recommend Los Arboles. It was quaint & charming, quiet, clean and nicely laid out with a small separate sitting area. Great restaurant on site. Only complaint, king beds only, was traveling with my SIL & would have preferred 2 queens.

Thanks for the nice comments Kathleen ... appreciate your kind words about our little place. We wish we had a few rooms with two double beds ... but our 1937 architectural layout meant we could really only fit one bed per room. On your next visit maybe ask about the two bedroom suite or rooms with connecting doors perhaps?

Thanks again.

Upon checking in to Los Arboles Hotel the front desk clerk offered a "quiet" room away from the road. She was friendly and led the way to the room which was a nice touch! The room was very nice, clean and well appointed. However, the quiet room didn't end up being very quiet as there were a group of very noisy children (seems as though the parents of two families put all the kids in one room and went out for the night) in the room backing onto our sleeping area. As there is no one manning the front desk we had to keep banging on the wall to get them to quiet down! For comfort and safety guest should be able to communicate with management should problems arise. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep which is too bad as the bed was very comfortable.
On a positive note, the restaurant was quite nice as was the pool:)

Room Tip: Apparently the rooms away from the road are the quiet rooms!

We were in town for Tour de Palm Springs. This hotel was great! Close to downtown, didn't have to drive anywhere! The hotel staff was super friendly, the margaritas at the hotel resturant were AMAZING! My only complaint is that there were no rugs in the room, tile floors only, and we ended up trcking dirt in the bed. They do provide slippers and I will use them next time! The room and grounds were VERY clean and well maintained. WE WILL BE BACK!
