My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful birthday getaway here and loved every minute. Perhaps best was the midnight swimming in the saline pool. Great staff, great decor, and the fastest room service ever.

Amazing hotel with a romantic setting. I stay here quite often when I'm in Palm Springs due to it feeling secluded, like a private oasis that's never to far from downtown Palm Springs. Even when there are plenty of other guest on the property it never feels crowded or chaotic, due to the layout of the property. The hotel has plenty of services and features beautiful designs inside and out. I would recommend this for a romantic couples getaway (leave the kids at home) or just a beautiful, relaxing, escape.

Room Tip: The south building has some great, secluded, patios on the first floor.

Dear Cameron S,

The Parker Palm Springs is a perfect escape. The experience is defined by each guest according to their needs and wants.

Some want an escape that is more lively; others want to completely disconnect and luxuriate in the spa . We can accommodate all preferences; with 13 acres or gardens, the Estate is yours to explore.

Thank you for your support and I hope to welcome you back in the very near future.

Stayed with friends at the Parker for the night. The room was very comfortable for 3 girls and I slept well. We also enjoyed the hammock on the patio during the afternoon. Nice touch! The vibe of the property is very chill and overall everything is well-designed. The grounds are beautiful and everything feels private and exclusive. I did feel, however, that the dining and drinks were somewhat overpriced. I understand this is a major profit center for the hotel and that guests are paying for the convenience of staying on site, but the quality of the food was good, not extravagantly delicious as the prices would indicate. Overall however, the experience was great and this is a fantastic property.

Dear Tiki_casanova,

The Patio Hammocks are a great choice. They a larger, provide a private outdoor space and, of course, a hammock.

We have new dining option that will debut in late Fall. With the success of Norma's and mister parker's the pressure is on to create something special. We have every confidence it will be another wonderful addition to the Parker Palm Springs.

This is funky understated. It's so Palm Springs! Every time you turn a corner, it's like a discovery. Love that! And - the bath amenities are unsurpassed- Bvlgari, Hermes? Don't mind if I do! Just love the attention to product. the spa is really lovely, quite spacious, indoor pool, etc. This group seems like they'll go the extra mile to make your experience special. My room felt like a guest room, like I was staying in someone's home, instead of a hotel. Also! Walking from the lobby to the rooms is like walking 'grounds', and you might see some tall grass or hedges. I love that! It was rather cool and unexpected. It's a great place for those who want to get away, but also any corporate minded people looking to 'get away'. I think it's quite unique and FUN. Who can''t use some fun?

We have been coming to The Parker for decades, and have seen it go through several transformations from its Merv Griffin days to the present. No doubt it is better today, the beautiful gardens and the salt water pool but it has come at a price! Not sure if groupon has anything to do with it, but the weekend was just overrun with people being loud and taking over the facilities; the pools (2) were full, the Spa was crazy busy, jacuzzi also etc. It just took away from our special time to celebrate a birthday. Was LA in Palm Springs and not Vegas, oh no!
All staff were awesome, congrats to them to keep it all together!
I would return but Sunday through Thursday only..sorry!

Room Tip: Rooms in the North Building are quieter and away from noisy swimming pools. Our room was spacious wi...

Fear not rblillo! All is calm at the Parker Palm Springs.

We remain dedicated to our Happy Chic vibe and not opening our pools to the masses for a rave or other drunken shenanigans. (Tipsy? Yes)

With all of the great feedback we get, the team are the center of our success and your experience. They'll be thrilled to read your recognition of their efforts.

We stayed at The Parker for the weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary and found it to be a charming, lovely place. The grounds are beautiful, with fountains and meandering paths that give you this great feeling of seclusion. Jonathan Adler designs are so perfect to capture "Palm Springs", and the rooms were wonderfully done. All the staff we encountered were wonderful and attentive without being overbearing.

The pools were busy, of course (it is July) but we never had to wait very long for loungers to come open. We did spend more time in the pool near the North Building since it seemed less crowded. I appreciated the guard checking guests at the pool gate, though some folks did give him a hard time for asking. Food service at the pool did take some time when we ordered lunch, but our waitress was very attentive and even offered us a free cocktail to apologize for the long wait, which I thought was quality service.

Brunch at Norma's was fantastic - I had the Wa-Za(?) Waffles, and they were probably one of the greatest breakfasts I have ever eaten!

The ONE problem, though, happened on Saturday night. My husband and I were celebrating around 11PM at the all hours pool with a bottle of champagne. It was great having the pool on a cool, quiet night, just us and a few other people lounging around. That is, until these two drunk dudes came over and set up shop in the lounge area, mixing drinks and talking loudly. Understandable - it's a Saturday night and everybody should be having a good time.

Except, then, one of the guys decides he has to go to the bathroom. He walks to the water and starts peeing in the pool, laughing. We all tried to say something, but he just laughed us off and kept going. I felt like I was back at the Riviera. Needless to say, the moment was over and we went back to the room. We swung by the lobby to tell the security what happened and nobody was at the front desk.

We had a wonderful time, barring that one incident, and hopefully we'll find our way back to the Parker. Though we may refrain from swimming in the pool...

Dear Jason M,

Thank you for your appreciation of the Estate and all of the wonderful elements it provides to make a special experience.

'That one thing' ...Sadly, there are those individuals in the world that display juvenile behavior and it can ruin the time of others. The good news is they are few and far between and we treat the pools several times each day.

Please let me know the next time you're coming to Palm Springs. Hope that is soon.

While it may seem pricy, and not have the BEST pools... you get a feeling being there like no other. The property, the exclusivity/privacy, the decor, the old school glam, the amazing staff, not to mention the extra fees you don't pay for. Everywhere I stay there's usually several, if not all, of the following fees: a resort fee, city tax, parking fee (not to mention valet is MORE than self park), daily Wi-Fi fee, HERE there's none of that. You feel almost that you have the resort to yourself until you go to the pool(s) and realize others are actually there too. It's nice that it feels somewhat exclusive, they keep day trippers away from waltzing in to the (small) pool areas , maybe even from going to the (amazing) restaurants too as they charge everything to the room/name on the booking... Which I happened to like very much, otherwise I feel like it would be very crowded with people who want the experience without the cost. Great place. Like no other. I hope they stay the same forever!

Dear ellejaybee,

The key to it all is the amazing staff.

We do have incredible grounds, interiors and rooms designed and decorated by Jonathan Adler, exclusive use of the three pools for Estate guests only but it would all be for naught without the team we have here.

Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back in the very near future.
