We almost always stay at a Hilton, Hyatt or Marriott. This compared favorably. We spent an extended weekend here while attending a wedding at a nearby venue. It is a timeshare operated as a hotel managed by the Wyndham group. We paid a nightly rate of $90 for a one-bedroom unit. At that rate, this hotel was an outstanding value. After booking at the suggestion of local family who had visited hotel, I had seen online older reviews stating the rooms required refurbishment. The refurbishment has occurred. The unit we stayed in as well as the other our son and his wife stayed in were nicely decorated and appointed as well as very clean. The one bedroom unit is comprised of fully provisioned kitchenette, living/dining area, bedroom and bathroom with separate vanity area. The living room/dining room bedrooms are carpeted. The entrance foyer, kitchen and bathroom areas are ceramic tiled. There's a flat screen TV in the living room and in the older model (non-flat screen) TV in the bedroom armoire. There is a small balcony area off both the living room/dining room as well as the bedroom. If important, it should be noted that the room is not freshened on a daily basis. Since that entailed us only having to make our own bed and reusing towels, that wasn't issue for us. Front desk staff was professional, friendly and helpful throughout stay. Again, if important, there is no restaurant or dining here and front desk/reception area appears to be open from 7 AM to 10 PM.

We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed our mini suite. We chose to face the golf course and glad we did because it's beautiful in the morning. The fitness room and sauna aren't anything to write home about...it would be more beneficial if they could upgrade these areas because the equipment isn't In too good of shape. Besides that, our room was very clean and the mini kitchen had just the right stuff for us to cook meals. It doesn't have an oven but they do provide a toaster oven instead. You also have a refrigerator, microwace, toaster, blender, plenty of pots/pans, utensils, etc for your stay.the resort is In a great location, right near hwy 111 that runs along many other little towns. Tons of grocery stores, shopping complexes very close by as well as restaurants and down town palm springs. Great place to stay and the staff was wonderful...especially the housekeeping staff :)

booked five rooms for family and friends, and yeah the weather and accommodations were great. this is a great spot for a get together, and a perfect location. will be back soon, and thanks for the great hospitality.

Room Tip: we prefer the third floor facing the golf course, but if you bring your dog(s), the first floor is best. don't miss out on the golf courses or a massage.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this resort. Everything was comfortable! The ceiling was a little outdated and so was the TV in the bedroom, but overall the place was great. A good value for our money. We also experienced great customer service.

Room Tip: The grass side has a great view.

Thank you for comments, we at The Plaza Resort & Spa also welcome feedback from our guests. As to your comments about the ceiling and TVs in the Bedrooms, we are in the process of replacing the bedroom TVs with the 32" TVs from the livingroom as needed and putting 42" TVs in the livingroom. This will be done on an as needed basis. The ceilings will not be done at this time due to funding issues, but are in the planning for the next few years.

We at The Plaza pride ourselves in our service to our guests and treat all like a member of our family.

We look forward to you coming back to The Plaza in the near future.

This was a very nice, clean resort. They were generous with towels both bath and pool. It is a time share so many of the guests come yearly, but everyone was friendly and courteous. The BBQ's are very clean and accessible.

The main pool is small and there were lots of families with kids but all were well behaved. There is another pool, "the quiet pool" that had few people and stayed calm most of the day. Given we were there over 4th of July I thought it was reasonable.

We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: If you want quiet don't choose near the main pool. Our room was very nice though.

Thank you for your feedback about your recent stay at The Plaza, we appreciate your comments. The resort is an older resort, but we strive as a team to maintain The Plaza in the best condition possible for the enjoyment of all our guests and owners.

We just completed a renovation of the units in October of 2013 and are working on numerous other projects to keep the resort in the best shape possible.

We look forward to a future visit to The Plaza Resort & Spa.

Thank you,
