I dined at Europa Restaurant for the first time to celebrate a birthday at Sunday Brunch. At brunch you have a choice of a la carte dining, or the all inclusive champagne ($35) or bloody mary ($40) brunch, which includes beverages and 3 courses. Our server, Jeremy was helpful and attentive throughout this delightful experience. I decided to go for the brunch, and my only disappointment was the quality of the house champagne (which was on the sweet side) did not match the high calibre of the food. I recommended they consider a Spanish Cava instead of the California sparkling wine they are serving. The birthday girl selected better quality wine by the glass and was happy with her choice. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the Europa salad, lobster omelette and the short ribs eggs benedict with chipotle hollandaise - they were both excellent. Dessert was the flourless chocolate torte with chocolate ganach and served with what appeared to be homemade ice cream. This dessert alone was enough to make me want to return to Palm Springs - the dessert is so fabulous, it's worth the drive to PS!
