“A Must Have If You Like Eggs Benedict”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2014

If you like eggs Benedict then you have to try their twist on it called Europa Benedict. Typical poached eggs served on top of fried panko topped with green beans and for the sauce it's a mixture of yogurt and a little heat of some kind, just wonderful when the yolk runs into the crunchy panko. It's served with toast and comes with a side of butter and lingonberry jam and best with a nice French press coffee.
Looks like nothing spectacular from the front but we parked on the side and entered and sat in their courtyard in the back.
Great place for brunch.
Good value.

“Best I've had in a long time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2014

We loved that the food was excellent, the staff was attentive but not intrusive and we were able to enjoy the beautiful restaurant without being hurried. Everything from the china to the background music was tastefully done. Our server was one of the best I've ever had, and the meal was exquisite!

“European delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

We had dinner at the Europa and it was a very lovely experience. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We dined in the summer where there was a lighter menu being served. We plan to return in the fall when they bring out a new menu. Looking forward to returning and highly recommended

“Wonderful healthy breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

My partner and I eat very healthy, especially breakfast. For us that includes eggs. However we dont eat at chain type breakfast places. We like locally sourced food. We always look for restaurants that dont have freezers. This ensures that the food is fresh. This place has all of that. They are organic whenever practical, locally sourced and made fresh daily. This was one of the best parts of my recent trip to Palm Springs. We will be back

“Charming but slow”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014 via mobile

We tried out this Palm Springs institution on a hot summer evening in early June.

The setting is certainly pretty, and the old fashioned decor is charming. Plenty of parking on the relatively quiet street out front.

We had a friendly welcome before being shown to our table towards the rear of the restaurant. Although the table was against a wall, it was right in the thoroughfare to that far corner, so people were constantly passing by.

Our server was very, very friendly. But service was excruciatingly slow. If took fully 10 minutes before we were offered menus or drinks. In fact we were on the verge of deciding whether to stay or not. The first course easily took 30 minutes to arrive. After that things sped up to the other extreme. We had barely finished our starters when the main courses arrived. Then it swung back to slow again, with a long, long wait for the dessert menu, and even longer for the orders to be taken.

The food itself was good, but not at all memorable. Portion sizes were generous in true Palm Springs style.
