Description: Peabody's Café opened in 1992 as a coffee house. Over the years we became a full restaurant and bar serving simple American food with a Southern California twist. Most everything is made fresh to order. We serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily. You can also join us on Friday and Saturday nights when we stay open later for Karaoke. Try our Bloody Mary with nine ingredients! And sample our two homemade salsa and three homemade hot sauces complementary with your order. So sit back and relax, and enjoy our food and the people watching!

Well after a fun filled night dancing away at our wedding needless to say we were hungry. So a group of us ventured over to Peabodys from Palm Desert for the Bloody's and breakfast...we were promptly seated and service was attentive. Food came out quickly and as ordered. Hit the spot....we have eaten here many times and always good. Stop in if you can...

If breakfast is the most important meal to you like it is to me..... Well maybe not your first choice.

The waiters were waiting out front in outdoor seating area very quick to encourage you to come on in, so we did, sat down at our table of choice only to lean on some sort of sticky residue, hard to see as it was dark inside. Ordered drinks straight up , orange juice tasted like cordial with sweetener in it. I ordered the eggs florentine which came with pretty much a farm full of potatoes literally my plate was filled with what they called O'brien Potatoes, they were aweful and dry. My mate had scrambled eggs which were covered in cheese which looked like a hard cake this came with a complimentary begal and crime cheese, we shared the begal and left the rest.

The overall hygiene was low the look from the young staff was very relaxed which I guess explains the hygiene factor.

Our waiter was friendly so we tipped.

Wouldn't return sorry guys. Really needs a renovation and a fresh utensils.

This restaurant was recommended to us. There was a 20 minute wait for lunch so we returned the next morning for breakfast. Located on the main street of town, a fun place to be anytime. They have different home-made salsas, I chose mango to go with my omelet but ate it separately as the omelet was too good by itself. I'm very fussy about how I spend my calories so made a point of telling the waiter & hostess on our way out how tasty the omelet was--hope the person who made it got the message.

We chose Peabody's for breakfast. Portion where huge and the quality was OK. Since we set outside we had plenty to see from the crowd passing by - S Palm Canyon Dr is probably the most frequented street in Palm Springs (I considered this a "Scenic View").
