We have become return customers, we are picky and we are happy!! There are no novella cuisine items or updates on classics. It is old school Italian with delicious food and great service. We started with the fried calamari that was lightly battered and fried to a perfect crisp without a hint of oiliness. The bonus was the marinara sauce, it was thick, spicy and, along with the calamari was piping hot. I had their veal chop that was grilled to perfection and unbelievably tender-- a great cut of meat. The dish came with a side order of rigatoni and the sauce was great, which was so good that next time I may have to go for one of the many pasta dishes. My wife had the New Zealand King Salmon. We are from Seattle, so the bar is set high. It was grilled to perfection, very moist and flakey. Our next trip to Palm Springs means a trip to Costas.

You can tell they care about their business. The food is fresh, delicious, and you can taste the quality ingredients! Everyone (all six) commented on how delicious the food was and said it was on their favorites list. It's hard to find good Italian food these days. What some places call pizza boggles the mind!

We found out that it is a family-run business and it shows. Four (?) brothers are running it from the kitchen to table service, after their father, who had cooked for ‘Frank’, opened it umpteen years ago. It was all great service and great food. I had their special of the day Ossobuco, that was world class! We shared the tiramisu, which was unbelievably light, creamy and tasty. We will be back.

We were recommended this restaurant and also saw the good reviews, but were so disappointed. It was happy hour but we were shown straight to a table and informed that happy hour drinks are only served at the bar. If you want to share a dish then an extra charge is incurred so we skipped starters. I chose the Veal mushroom with salad and pasta. The salad was lovely. Only 2 out of the 3 pieces of veal were edible. The sauce on the veal was really strong and the sauce on the pasta was very tart and didn't compliment the veal. My husband had the mussel linguine with white sauce and soup. The soup was lovely, but the mussels were very small and the white wine sauce was very vinegary, thin and over powered with lumps of garlic. We didn't bother with desert. The wine was ok but over priced. The restaurant wasn't very busy and the service was overbearing.

Yummy and a great choice. Celebrated our anniversary with sausage and peppers and halibut lemon sauce. Food was excellent and the tiramisu the best we've had. Our server Daniel was attentive and also gave us space. Wine list very good too! Five out five for us.
