I stayed at the Andreas hotel with my husband for three days. The hotel is in an ideal location and very close to the main shopping street and the Thursday night market The rooms are centred around a courtyard with a swimming pool and it all looks very pretty. On arrival Bob on reception was very helpful and gave us a choice of three rooms, unfortunately all the rooms were very dark which is not ideal for the ladies, applying make-up etc, for that reason I would not stay at this hotel again

Stayed: June 2011, travelled as a couple

3 couples spend 1 night at this wonderful place. Just not long enough. Rooms are lovely as well as the pool. The staff was friendly and very helpfull. Breakfast great. Place is short walk to downtown but very quiet. We will be back!!!!

Room Tip: Rooms facing downtown are abit more noisey!

We were a little flustered and edgy after finding out that all the hotels around downtown had no vacancy until we came across the Andreas Spa Hotel (which to our luck had 1 availability left) we were greeted by Bob who immediately made us feel right at home, he was extremely hospitable, funny and very attentive to our needs. The hotel was very charming and the rooms were absolutely amazing, we stayed in room 224 which had a balcony overlooking the main strip. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palm Springs.
Thank you Bob!! For making our first trip together to Palm Springs a special one, the Andreas Hotel would not be half as memorable without having you there to represent it. We are definitely coming back!!!

Good points are the location and car park, which mean you're within yards of the bars/shops and eateries.
Then the small pool and jacuzzi is quiet and sheltered, and there is now (apparently) free-wi fi in the lobby, on the terrace and in a couple of the rooms. - my signal was poor and kept disconnecting/reconnecting.
The room has a microwave and fridge, and canned sodas in the fridge cost only $1.

What didn't impress me was the old fashioned extremely dark bedroom which was small, cramped, had a tiny bathroom, small Queen bed and old-fashioned tv.
The in-room air-con was very noisy, there was no hot water over the 3 days I was there (lukewarm was as good as it gets), and the "complimentary" breakfast is pretty primitive.

For the same price I've stayed in much nicer hotels with modern rooms in Palm Springs, but then again, these haven't had the convenient location.

We stayed at this hotel which is centrally located in Palm Springs right by the shopping, restaurant district, it was quite a pleasant surprise. Central, yet quiet, it is a small hotel that has a great deal of charm, and the staff is very friendly and helpful (especially Bob at the front desk). Our room was a tad dark, but the room was comfortable. A definite thumbs up here!

Room Tip: Rooms with a king bed are slighly larger
