Thank you so much Larry & Ed for making our stay with you so memorable.
Stayed at the old ranch Inn in october for 3 nights, it is so true what all the reviews say about this wonderful place, you think nowhere is that perfect but believe me this place is.
We stayed in room no 8 it was a beautiful room, but I'm sure all the rooms are lovely, it's so peaceful there but only a short walk into the centre of palm springs with it's quaint little shops a lovely restuarants, we liked the matchbox and fishermans grill.
Larry & Ed are the perfect host's nothing is to much trouble for them, they will do anything for you to make your stay perfect, they can teach those larger establishments a thing or 2 about customer service.
It's a shame we live so far away because it's a place you want to keep returning to, thats says it all.

Just to confirm what many have said about this place. Recently stayed for a couple of nights in October.
Great hotel; excellent rooms with nice finishing touches; lovely pool; good location; great hosts - will look after you and "go the xtra mile".
Deserves its status as one of the top ranked hotels in Palm Springs. Highly recommended.
Book - you will not regret it.

I will try to keep this to the point, but I think I may have difficultys. This place is THE best. On arrival, after a five hour drive and a six night stay in Vegas, this was just what the doctor ordered! After the madness of vegas, we were transported to the tranquility of the old ranch inn. My partner Gary and I were greeted like old friends, and by the time we left, and we were only there for 2 nights, we felt like we were leaving old friends behind. Ed and Larry are the perfect hosts, there if you need them, but never intrusive. Everything fabulous has already been said and I would like to second that, but I would like to add, mainly for my british travellers, that in september, this is the old ranch inn's "quiet" time. Visit during this time and you will have your own piece of heaven, as the americans do not travel to palm springs during this month. There was only 3 of the 8 rooms booked during our stay and we were all brits. Visit the old ranch inn before everybody finds out about it, because believe me, they will!

  • Liked — tranquil surroundings, sumptious and luxurious accomodations,
  • Disliked — absolutely nothing, I would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed at the Old Ranch Inn 4-6 October. I can't praise it highly enough, the rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The pool area and gardens are very pretty with little fountains scattered around. Ed and Larry are friendly and charming and nothing was too much trouble for them, Ed even ran us back to the airport when we discovered we'd left a package there and were panicking about it!. An excellent place to stay and highly recommended.

We stayed at the Old Ranch Inn for 2 nights in September after spending a few days in Las Vegas. Palm Springs was the ideal place for some rest and relaxion post Vegas and The Old Ranch Inn was the perfect hotel!
Having read so many great reviews I was sceptical that the hotel could live up to the hype but it really does. The rooms are well appointed, nicely decorated, clean & superbly comfortable. The pool & outdoor area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Larry & Ed were incredibly helpful (recommending restaurants, spas) and ever so nice!
All in all we had a fantastic few days in Palm Springs - what a wonderful town & great hotel. Should i have the good fortune to be back in the area I would definitely plan a repeat trip.

We chose to stay at the ORI after reading the very positive reviews on Trip Advisor - we were not disappointed.
Ed and Larry did everything and more to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable for our 12 nights. We stayed in Room 2, which is furnished to a very high standard. We were fortunate to have the Ranch to ourselves for most of our stay.
These guy's have done a tremendous job refurbishing this property, and have achieved a cosy, warm ambience.
The location of the Ranch is very close to the main shops and restaurants, which was great for us as we chose not to rent a car.
The buses into nearby towns are very cheap and reliable.
Larry booked us a table at Spencer's Restaurant (again walking distance), and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend the Chilean Seabass!!
As other guests have already said, we felt like we had made two new friends in Ed and Larry and hope to visit them again in the near future.
This may only be an 8 room Inn, however, the large chain hotels could learn a thing or two from Ed and Larry about customer care and service! Well done guy's.

We stayed at the Old Ranch Inn the week following the busy holiday weekend. We were pleasantly surpised at how clean and quaint this Old Ranch Inn was. The pool has great views of the mountains. The main strip is just a few blocks away (walking distance). We were there during an unfortunate heat wave but was pleased to have an air conditioner in the room that was more than effective. Not advertised on their site, is a nice little continental breakfast w/ coffee they provide. Last, and most important were our great hosts Larry and Ed. They gave us a great city tips and a helpful list of restaurant recommendations for our stay. We would definatley stay there again for our next Palm Springs vacation!
