Good, balanced mix of bar food, wines, and cocktails-- caters exactly to an upscale but youngish clientele who are looking to turn happy hour into dinner but don't want to drink beer while stepping on peanut shells. For food, we tried the nachos and the quesadilla which were both great, with the nachos even on the healthy side. Nice to not have a total gut buster alongside a nice glass of prosecco, which I also thoroughly enjoyed!

This was a great place to celebrate my friend's exciting professional achievement on a weekday evening. I would come back, no question, for a similar sort of occasion another time!

We visited with our family while we were in the area. Just had a couple of drinks- loved their $5 special! we liked that the volume was low enough to have fun but still have conversation and there were seats. Were were there fairly early so it wasn't too busy.

We had a party of ten, showed without reservations, and they handled us nicely. Very good service despite a couple of very picky people in our party.

This place used to have live music; they always had a really good jazz combo. But no one listens to jazz anymore, so they turned it into scotty's. It's a very basic bar with a small kitchen. No big alcohol selection, no custom mixology, and a couple of decent sized screens with the game on. Get simple things here - I think it's the skewers everyone likes - and get a beer. Since it's not that great or glitzy, there's usually a table and a quiet corner if you want to just chill. Otherwise, you probably want to go somewhere actually hopping, like Nola, or a real sports bar, like The Old Pro, or an actual beer bar, like the Rose and Crown.
