Description: Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.

Great meal and experience at this great restaurant. Virginia was our server and was really great sharing her thoughts on the menu. Tzakiki, lamb ribs, beets and octopus were incredible. So many great choices. Great ambiance. Close off of university in Palo Alto.

Great food and very popular. Hard to get reservation and expensive. The salads, lamp and fish are the best.

Just about the best restaurant in Palo Alto. Their lamb, fish entrees are sublime and the octopus salad is far more appetizing than the name suggests. Gorgeous decor and attentive service. Always crowded (no surprise). Great for business lunches and romantic dinners alike.

We were lucky to get a booking for a holiday weekend. The restaurant was almost full, crowded and fairly noisy with the talk of contented eaters.

We were advised by the manageress, who went to every table to check on things, that it's always best to book, even midweek, unless you want to eat after 8.30pm. Indeed, some tables were being re-set as we left at that exact time.

Food was superb. Every dish was great. The lamb chops, in particular, were some of the best we've ever had. Service was excellent too.

This place deserves its number 1 ranking and we can only wish we had anything as good as this in London!

In a previous trip to the Bay Area we had the opportunity to find a spot at Kokkari at the last minute, and the food was truly outstanding.

We recently were in the Bay Area more towards San Jose, and tried Evvia. Solid upscale Greek restaurant, with mostly traditional Greek food, delivered at a high standard. Ambiance was also great, despite us arriving at almost 10pm midweek, the place was more than 85% full, which made for a very enjoyable experience. Interesting wine list as well.
