Upon entering the restaurant and being looked at (not greeted) by 3 hosts, I said I'd look around for the party I was meeting, since I didn't know what name was on the reservation. They stonewalled that and asked for names. Finally I just called someone who met me at the front desk. I guess strolling through the restaurant is not allowed.
The server completely overwhelmed me with getting very close to my face and speaking loudly, with operatic-stage-voice-perfect annunciation and way too much enthusiasm. We ordered 3 things that she not only did not bring, but debated with us whether we ordered them. Way too many servers coming by way too often. This was a business-social meeting, and the service staff made themselves far too obvious.
I'm vegetarian, and though there were a few options, nothing was terribly creative or special.
In my opinion, classy restaurants provide excellent food and seamless service. This place was trying too hard to make you notice them.
