I've eaten everywhere in Palo Alto, and I'm not a fan of SliderBar. I really want to like it.
They have a nice beer and wine selection, and a set of sliders, which are very high priced for what you get. The only one I like is the medeterian one with lamb. Everything else is underspiced / undersalted, and it's gone in an instant. All of them have some kind of goopy sauce ("aoli") which boosts the calorie content unnecessarily.
The wine by the glass is always good here. When they first opened they were going to specialize in wine by the glass, so they have one of those fancy nitrogen things to keep the wine fresh.
At best, it's a good place for sitting outside (big doors open onto the street) and having an early evening beer and a nosh, not so good for dinner, although you'll easily find yourself with a $50/pp bill if you're not careful.
