“Nowhere near authentic”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Indo, despite its name, is nowhere near authentic Indo food. Instead, it is a fusion of chinese food with some indonesian spice influence, but catered to a western palate.

Satay - This was free with Yelp check-in. Yay!!! This satay was pretty good, not too dry and the meat was soft. Definitely recommended.

Roti prata - A tad too oily and tastes a lot like frozen prata. Nowhere near authentic :( The curry was too diluted too.

Spicy basil chicken - Erm, was expecting this to be a stir fry but it turned out to be a curry dish? A little weird.

Egg plant stir fry with bell peppers and sweet onion - Erm, all I tasted was oil. It was so oily that it overpowered any sauce/ seasoning this dish had :(

The ambience here is pretty good, but thats about all there is. For the price that they are charging, I'm better off eating somewhere else :(

“Still great but Balato Beef change not so much”
Reviewed 16 September 2013 via mobile

I come here just about every time I come to the bay area which is usually once a month. Love this place - quality food and great service as my earlier review indicated. They recently changed one of my favorite dishes - the Balato beef - from off the bone to a braised short rib and, while tender, the introduction of the fattier meat really takes it down a couple of notches. I'd still absolutely go because the broader menu is great as is the location and service - but it would be great if they would undo that last change to the beef.

“Best happy hour EVER!”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

Great happy hour drinks and food menu. Everything we drank and ate was GREAT!! Pear vodka with ginger syrup and lime juice...to die for. Great vegan options on the menu and they worked around our limited diets as well. A big A+.

“Great food and excellent service.”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

We attended a family party there with close to 30 people and the food was pre-ordered. The servers brought the food promptly and everything was delicious including the desserts. There is also a bar.
My only complaint is that it is very noisy.
