“Nice Place for a Hike (and to see Earthquake Fault Area)”

Reviewed 3 August 2014

If interested in seeing an earthquake fault area while in the San Francisco Bay area, then this is a good park to go to. We enjoyed walking/hiking through the park. It was a hot day so do bring water with you if you go on a similar type day.

Parking is in a free lot by the trail area.

Be aware - in summer poison oak is quite active in this area so be sure you know what it looks like if you are unfamiliar with it (we are - but we did see a fair amount of it in the area but its safe to hike if you know to stay away from it.)

Thank mini

What a great thing about the Bay Area -- all this open space! Enjoy the beautiful hikes and views, beautiful oak trees and absolute silence. Worth the windy drive, but do take water and a sweater as it can get windy.
