I was invited for lunch it this restaurant and I tried a dish with different varieties of seafood (crab, scallops, etc.).
The quality seemed to me quite good but I didn't like so much the sauce that covered the real taste of the seafood.
The desserts were excellent.

I have been here several times for their happy hour - but this is the first time that I am writing a review. The happy hour is from 5-7, and everything on the bar bites menu is 30% off. Cocktails are also 30% off, and there is a selection of wines for $4. Can't beat that! I ordered the crab cakes and they were delicious. LOTS of fresh crab meat, and garlic in the aoli sauce. It was served over a (bland) slaw. My friend ordered the fried calamari - a very large portion. They were lightly battered and not greasy at all. This is almost on my way home from work so is a very convenient stop. The service was prompt and the server came by to get more drink orders and make sure that we were happy with everything. Great happy hour value.

The food is always good and served attractively. The wait staff are aways attentive. They have an extensive menu. We have eaten at this restaurant for over thirty years!

Recently visited Scott's Seafood in Palo Alto. On the outside of a strip mall across from Stanford University, it's a casually upscale place where you can relax with friends. Try the salmon - delicious.

Great hospitality and service, even for larger groups.

Be sure to say hello to Tony while you're there.

The chowder is really good but the rest of the food is just ok. It seems that Scott's is still in the 80's and has not changed their menu very much over the years. They need to get more adventurous. This particular Scoot's is nicely decorated and has outdoor seating. The people were very friendly and service was fast.
