“Christmas Visit”
Reviewed 27 December 2012

Stayed in beautiful suite with visiting children and grandchildren. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Paradise. WE got two double/double rooms with adjoining doors, so the 4 granddaughters slept in one room, the four adults in the other. Made the experience one of "togetherness" without having us all on top of one another. So nice!

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed your Christmas visit to Paradise. We know it can be challenging for a large family to travel together and are glad that our connecting rooms accommodated your family comfortably! Thank you for sharing your comments - we look forward to accommodating you again on a future visit to the area.

Very friendly. Very accommodating staff. Very clean and quiet. Perfect place to stay when visiting relatives or attending a special event in the area. Highly recommend. Breakfast also had a great selection to choose from.

Room Tip: I don't believe there are any bad rooms. The location is very peaceful and quiet. Great for a...

I'm an idiot. I was searching for a motel in Chico and ended up booking this place, based on price and amenities, without realizing how far off Hwy 99 we would be staying. It worked out okay as this Comfort Inn was a very good value. The breakfast was okay, but the breakfast facilities were perhaps below average. There were about six tables crammed into a space that was about 12 ft square. The chairs are over-sized for the space available and they have a useless bar taking up table space. It's a somewhat uncomfortable experience to be eating breakfast as others are milling around waiting for a space to come open.

We appreciate your comments and are very sorry for the discomfort you experienced in the breakfast room. The bar you described is intended for additional seating and once the bar stools are delivered we expect to free up a little room by removing one of the tables. We understand it wasn't your intention to stay so far from Chico, but hope you were able to enjoy a little bit of Paradise!

This hotel is one of the few choices in Paradise and maybe the staff knows this. They dont smile or say hello when you check in or passing you in the hall. When we arrived, the bed had not been made and there was a big stain on the comforter. They had one guy cleaning all the rooms and he seemed like he didnt want to be there. All the emenities were good and we enjoyed our stay overall, just wish that the staff was friendlier. We felt as though they didnt want us there.

Room Tip: If you like to sleep in, get a room on the west side of the hotel during the summer or the sun will...

I know my title sounds promising but remember there are maybe 20 or 30 thousand people living in Paradise and there might be 4 hotels/motels in town all together. Some of these places look like they charge by the hour. If you have to stay in Paradise, Comfort Inn is your best choice. Hotel is clean and well maintained, rooms are quite big, small refrigerator, microwave oven, the beds are clean but furniture could use some updating. The hotel is close to the hospital, free wifi that is not the best but faster than at most of Marriott or Hilton hotels. I recommend asking for a room in the back of the hotel, my room is on the second floor overlooking the parking lot (with small swimming pool in the middle) and close to the road that could be noisy at times.

We were in Paradise on business and needed a place to stay for two nights. The Comfort Inn was very clean, exceedingly quiet and conveniently located. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the property behind the hotel. The front counter staff was very helpful. We never heard anyone else, making for a restful night's sleep. We would definitely come back.

Room Tip: Top floor towards back of hotel worked well for us as it was very quiet.

This hotel was clean and peaceful. All Chico hotels were booked for the weekend. It was a bit of a drive from CSU (not bad though), Nice & helpful hotel staff, didn't stay for the breakfast, but it looked like the offered a good variety. The only slight negative that I came across was the poor Verizon coverage, other than that the hotel was fine.
