This place has a great location along the river. Our trailer spot was right on the beach and we could anchor our boat and swim right from our site. The facilities are old and definitely heavily used. This is not a luxury resort - but naturally beautiful and a fun place to stay. If you're aiming at the Hilton, it would be very disappointing. If you think you're going camping, you'll have a great time.

Management is extremely RUDE!!! This was our first family trip to the Parker area and we rented a trailer for 3 nights for 165 a night - extremely overpriced but we had found it online, so didn't know what to expect. The reason it was overpriced, was due to the fact the trailer was extremely dirty and half of it was falling apart, the community showers and toilets were always dirty and toilets backup. We had a problem with the trailers' airconditioner and the manager had no customer service skills. The fix to the airconditioner was a quick fix and instead of the manager fixing it and letting us know the problem, he was obnoxious and insulting. That made us NEVER want to return EVER. The beachfront spot was great but our experience with management, ruined our trip. We loved the river, so on our way home, we explored other RV parks that we will annually visit and completely stay out of this RV park.

I have been coming to Echo every year for over 25 years and I find it to be the best riverfront campground in Parker. The location is what makes this place great. You have a great stretch of river in front and a rock mountain behind you which provides shade in the early morning. Each river front spot has a table and patio for shade and a grill for cooking. Each spot also has access (for a small fee) to cable tv hookups. You can keep your boat anchored in the water in front of your spot for quick access during the day. The downside of Echo though are their bathrooms and showers which are usually not clean and since they are not air conditioned its like going to the bathroom in a sauna, and usually with flies. I would advise to bring a motorhome or trailer to use instead. They do have a air conditioned indoor bar with an arcade and pool tables onsite which used to be open all week but now is only open during the weekend. The bar "Club Paradise" also has freshwater pools outside. They also have a small market onsite that is open all week to buy food, ice, drinks, etc.

first, we were over-charged. exttra $20 charge on each of two two-night stays. apparently it was an additional charge for MAKING A RESERVATION. even with both sites reserved by one reservation, one credit card charge. therefore, a $35 per nite charge became $45 per night. the laundry facilities are terrible. the showers and bathrooms provided are more than terrible. we were warned by residents there that maintenance is terrible. therefore, why waste your money staying there?
