This resort is an old-school type place with quite a bit of 1950's style RV park charm. It is ramshackle and not well maintained, however I paid $ 100 a night for a small kitchen-cabin which was quite reasonable. The place is an excellent gateway to Havasu boating being just North of Parker Dam,, and it is remote and quiet.
The rooms are marginally clean - we found a huge cockroach in ours (he was wearing sneakers and a helmet) and indeed, as the other reviewers noticed, there are wild burros on the property and therefore numerous piles of road apples everywhere, which they are very slow to clean up. But the boat launch was low stress and the marina in good shape. I would say, if you come in a RV you are much better off than staying in a rented room. Note the access road is very long and narrow with many curves, a 40 footer could make it but with some stress. As for the restaurant on premises, it was the worst food Ive had in a long time, even the bread was leather-like and the pork chops were solid steel. Just awful. Staff is friendly but they need much larger maintenance staff.

We rented an RV spot on the beach along the river. It was fabulous! I loved that we could walk out of the RV onto the beach where our boat was tied off. Full hook-ups make this an ideal spot for RV families! The little store has everything that we forgot & the restaurant has good breakfasts. My son got up early in the morning to feed the wild donkeys that roam the park- so, don't leave any food out overnight! The boat slips can be a bit pricey if you have a larger/deeper boat. So, if you can tie it off along the beach, don't purchase a slip. This was a great place & we look forward to returning next year.

Our family of five was invited on this trip by a group of friends who stay at this place every year. They said it was decent. The website even had some photos that looked promising. However, I wish we would have stayed at our usual place instead of here. We usually rent a house but we thought we should be close to the group.

It was a super long trip off the beaten path to find the place. When we got to our "Park Model", it was a single wide trailer that was over 60 years old. The decor was about 60 years old too, broken mini blinds, super thin towels & blankets, cabinet drawers that needed repair. Thankfully, we brought our own blankets. It would have been easy to break in the door with your fist. The bathroom was gross. Our a/c worked well though our friends had problems with theirs. Another friend's Park Model smelled really bad.

Positive things: it was right on the water and had some shore line. They have a restaurant on site with good food, a gas station to fill up your boat and a general store with all kinds of supplies. We enjoyed seeing the burros that live throughout the property.

We like to stay at places that are clean, comfortable, and better than home as opposed to places like this that were soooo old, tattered and worn out. That's why I'm giving a terrible rating.

Before we left, we had heard the park was sold to another company so one would hope some remodeling is on the to-do list. However, my family will not ever stay here again.
