Kale salad ($11) good portion, tasty, fresh, dressing not over powering, red grapes were a nice touch. Mother Earth pizza ($13) looked small but for the two of us with the kale salad was perfect. The crust was soft, nicely cooked, not blackened like Mozza. The veggies were lightly cooked.

I had iced tea which they kept coming, I ended up having four glasses. We ended the meal with key lime pie. Tasted like something I had in Marathon - FL that had real key limes.

Overall it was a nice time, other waiters and waitresses checked in with us. You can park just a few streets away for free. Great neighborhood , super safe.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Luggage Room. The pizza was excellent - ordered the Fallen Angel (sausage, peppers, basil). Thin stone fired crust. The chopped salad with salami was suprisingly yummy. A beautiful pile of chopped lettuce, veggies and salami. A small salad and a pizza were plenty for one, and could be shared for light eaters. I enjoyed the food so much, I was disappointed when it was gone. The outdoor seating is really nice. The indoor seating is a little dark, but lively. The servers were attentive and helped each other with delivering food. Overall, great food and experience. Highly recommended.

My wife and I live in Pasadena and decided to consult Trip Advisor for a good restaurant locally. Luggage Room was rated #1 so I checked out their web site and learned that they had a half price promotion on bottles of wine less than $40 on Wednesday nights. That gave us the incentive to put up with the underground parking structure, so we went. We chose to sit outside under a heater because the music was turned up very loud inside. Upon receiving the menus we learned that out of 25-30 wines on the list, there are only 3 under $40! It seemed like a rather hollow promotion. So instead of getting a bottle we just had 4 glasses at the happy hour price of $4/glass. The house wine was pleasant.

Our server, Danielle, was charming, professional and helpful. We ordered what she recommended. We shared one order of each of the following: bacon wrapped dates, a Fallen Angel pizza and Key Lime Pie. Everything was excellent. We will definitely go back. Next time we may even sit inside at the bar because that is where Danielle says she usually works.

If you don't mind valet or underground parking, or very expensive wine, you are sure to enjoy the food and service. Without parking charges, we paid $61.23 for house wine, food, tax and tip.

Pizza and gourmet rarely go together . . . except at the Luggage Room. This is a busy place and they don't take reservations, go early or plan to wait. Be sure to start with a house salad-- the flavors blended artfully in this finely shredded piled high on the plate delight, and there's plenty to share. We ordered the Market Pizza with fresh veggies from --- where else? -- the Farmers Market. This wood-fired deight was easily the best veggie pizza ever. It is spicy with red pepper flakes, so be warned, some of the slices might be quite hot. It's a noisy place, so grab a seat at one of the patio tables.
