Description: Slater’s 50/50® was founded in 2009 in Anaheim Hills, California by Scott Slater, a San Diego State graduate with a passion for gourmet comfort food and craft beer. Teaming up with Executive Chef Brad Lyons, they created the world’s first 50/50 burger – 50 percent ground bacon and 50 percent ground beef – taking the Southern California restaurant scene by storm. In 2011, the second Slater’s 50/50 opened in Huntington Beach followed quickly by the San Diego location. Since opening, Slater’s 50/50 has won a number of awards and accolades including “Best Burger” by The Orange County Register, OC Weekly and FOX 5 San Diego as well as Best New Restaurant by San Diego Magazine. Slater’s 50/50 has also been featured on national television shows including the Travel Channel’s Bacon Paradise and Discovery Channel’s United States of Bacon.

Came to Pasadena recently for a college football game with friends, and we were very happy to find this restaurant. It's a great atmosphere generally, with lots of TVs for those interested in watching sports. They're known for burgers, for which there are no shortage of choices (friends raved about the burger that was 50% bacon, 50% beef). I had a regular bacon cheeseburger, and was very happy with the seasoning on the burger and also that it was cooked as I requested. We liked the restaurant well enough to come back a couple days later for brunch, and were happy with the options offered then as well. Service was a tiny bit slow for brunch, but we arrived shortly after they opened on a Sunday, so that's understandable. A fun place.

Loved burgers here!! You can order from the menu or built your own. Meat and ingredients were great. The bacon ketchup was really good! The place has a peculiar smell when you go inside, not so nice.. but the food was really good! Honey BBQ chicken wing also very good.

This facility is a restaurant and bar. There is lots of seating and although we arrived at 6 PM we made reservations. The menu includes a variety of meals including a wide choice of burger "toppings". I had an ultimate burger. It was quite good. There are fancy fountain drinks and although I did not have one, I was told by one of my family members that his was quite good but very filling! The service was fine.
