I have visited this place after work a couple of times for a quick beer.. so my post is abt the place rather than the food..... the place is nice and clean. Washrooms smell fresh. the bar seating area is a little bit of a squezze when busy but so is life! The food which people have all are of large portion, and looks and smells great! However my main reason for this post is about customer service! I understand the "have a nice day" blah blah because people want a TIP, in islands, they honestly seem to mean it. There customer service is 100% perfect! They are polite they are quick to serve. The staff are helpful with local and CA knowledge, they chat to you (when not too busy) about YOU! they all genuinely seem to care! And because of 2 members of staff...... Miranda amd Stephanie i would recommend this place because these ladies are AMAZING and from travelling from the UK to LAX i have a huge amount of places to visit for a beer and food and thanks to these girls i will always visit and recommend ISLANDS! XXXX

I have visited this venue several times. They have the best onion rings hands down, if you like them like I do, crispy and crunchy. Burgers are supreme only surpassed by the excellent and friendly service.

Our dining experience was consistent with other Islands in the chain. Good variety of burgers. Good Drinks. Some local beers on tap. Good service.

Don't go there for food after 10 pm; we felt rushed, and the food was undercooked. Go back to the street level of Colorado Boulevard and try one of those eateries instead.

If what you want is a fine gourmet hamburger, then you're in for a treat. These burgers are great. The fries are good, too. They also have a pretty good beer selection. Highly recommended.
