Standard Westin great service. Very friendly staff all around. A little off the beaten path if you need to do businesses down town ( 15 min walk) rooms are clean. Nice outdoor fire pit for a drink during a cool valley night..best location in area.

On many occasions over the last 10 years I have held business lunches at the Pasadena Westin Hotel, as I did again today. The newly remodeled restaurant and outdoor plaza is a perfect spot to take anyone....beautiful, quiet and modern. The menu is excellent....a wide variety of high-quality choices, so I'm comfortable taking anyone there. Best of all is the attention and courtesy of the waiters, and especially Norman...whom I have experienced regularly for many years as a highly professional, dedicated and well-respected food and beverage server with excellent people skills.; he is a high credit to the Westin organization.

Generally a comfortable hotel but could be better run.

The staff, while all pleasant, had to be asked multiple times for some requests (correcting a reservation/billing error, getting clean glasses in the room after dirty ones were left for two days). We had to call Starwood to finally correct the reservation error - and then the Westin Pasadena charged us $2 for the toll free call to Starwood.

Thank you for taking the time to give me your feedback and I apologize that we fell short of meeting your expectations. I am not sure what issue you might have had that we could not take care of on property, but apologize that you needed to call Starwood and that we added insult to injury by charging you for the call. I hope that you believe that we do our best to be better than that and that you will give us another opportunity to show you a Westin Experience.

Stayed 2 nights here on business. The hotel staff was professional and pleasant. Had an issue with water leaking from the AC vent above my shower and they had both the service tech' and keys to a new room up in minutes. Meeting roos and catering very good as well.

Just stayed here for 2 nights for a conference and it was super all around. Getting out to walk in Old Town Pasadena after a long day in the conference was perfect. Bought a lot of shoes! Wonderful beds, slept like a baby, fresh for the next day. Great, healthy breakfast options too. Highly recommended.

Wife and I stayed as part of a group.

The group checkin was annoying since it appeared that the hotel hadn't done enough preparation to make it quick and easy and perhaps was having computer problems. Would have been helpful if they had people line up in a single line and go to the next available checkin person rather than having some people wait 15 minutes and others 5 minutes not knowing which line was going to move faster. (Yes, I got stuck in a line that took forever it seemed.)

Nice room and a nice view to the east. Great 3 mile pickup and deliver to cut down on the need for a taxi or walking in the area. We used it to get to the theater and back with the driver making 2 trips coming back and was very speedy doing so.

Good location since 2 blocks south is Colorado and opportunities for those who want some breakfast without the normal high cost of hotel restaurant food. Convenient to both California Pizza Kitchen for reasonable lunch and dinner food and Mccormick and Schmick for higher end food both a half block down the street through the hotel garden. My wife and I did have quite expensive breakfasts in the restaurant dining room the first morning. Could have walked 2 blocks to Colorado for much less expensive food.

A block or so to the west is the City Hall and Old Town.

Comfortable bed though the mad hadn't tucked in the sheets and the rest of the bedding I fought lumpy bedding part of the night. Guess she had been interrupted and didn't finish the job. Corrected for the next night when I told them about the problem.

Since I was part of a group with a prepaid trip I don't know about prices but I would certainly consider the Westin were I wanting to stay in a nice hotel. Quiet and didn't hear any noise from adjacent rooms or outside. And unlike some others who have reported top of the hotel rooms being desirable we were only half way up to the top of the hotel.

Nice TV for those who are addicted though the non-pay channels are a bit annoying to try to find. Took a while to find news when we first arrived and I wanted a weather report.

Good temperature control and my wife who always complains about A/C or heat noises didn't say a word.

Room Tip: Liked our room overlooking the driveway into the hotel.

Langham was full, so I stayed at this Westin for the first time. I was a bit scared about the bed-bug reviews but it turned out to be no problem. Very nice hotel. I hate the smell of the old Langham, but this Westin had very little of that. But, the carpet need to be changed or hardwood floor to to be installed. Location is good but I felt uncomfortable to walk to/from Old Pasadena when it is dark outside. The best part of this hotel is the 4th floor. Nice gym and a small but adequate swimming pool with the great view of the town. Breakfast is no good. Pushy waiter and boring food. I would suggest you to take a 1/2 mile walk to old Pasadena for a nice breakfast.

Room Tip: Upper floor with a view
