Just stayed at this hotel a couple days ago and was completely underwhelmed. I have stayed at many Sheratons and this one by far takes the last ranking.
Pros: Great location, it is right by Colorado Blvd where all the restaurants and shops are. Its within driving distance to a lot of attractions. Hotel lobby was clean and neat. Guestrooms are up to standard but nothing special. Room was spacious and I do appreciate that the hotel is built to accommodate conference guests. There was a mini fridge in the room to accommodate long term guests.
Cons: The check-in desk was so hard to find. It was extremely small too. Some parts of the hotel, especially the rooms are a bit outdated. Bathroom and tv seemed modern, everything else was outdated. Parking for hotel guests was $18+ per night. Parking for conference attendees was $10+ for up to 16 hours. Parking was a complete dupe especially since a lot of the guests driving in won't be parking until late into the night and leaving early the next morning for their sightseeing. Parking at the Sheraton was as much as I would pay for self parking for staying at a hotel in New York.
Overall, it's not a bad hotel but this Sheraton was nothing special. It delivers the standards but don't expect to look for that extra level of service.
