Ann and George's Bed & Breakfast

After 3 days of hiking in 3 different National Parks--what a treat to be greated and spoiled by Ann and George. We were pampered from the very beginning and I could have stayed forever on the deck with the view of the vineyard and my book in my hand. Thanks to Ann and George's suggestions, we enjoyed some local restaurants and activities in and around Paso Robles. We enjoyed learning about our host couple and sharing stories of our lives with them. It was the perfect "vacation" in our very busy week in California. When we traveled down from the B&B to the see the coast (late July), we watched the temperature drop 30 degrees in 20 miles. It was so nice to drive back up Ann and George's driveway to reach the top of the hill, where it was warm! At night it cooled down enough that we were able to sleep with the windows open. The breakfasts were enormous and delicious. We would spend the day out, have a late lunch at a local spot, and return to a plate of cheeses, crackers, and local fruit--and wine, of course. This trip felt like a visit with family. I chose this B&B based on reviews from this site. Thanks so much! It was incredible!

Room Tip: We stayed in The Guest Room. It was perfect for the 2 of us and we woke to see beautiful sunrises e...

Excellent place to stay to visit the Highway 46/ Paso Robles wine country! Ann and George offer a truly welcoming B&B in a perfectly situated, secluded spot in the hills overlooking a tranquil vineyard.

The guest room that we shared was cozy, clean and comfortable. There were several surprises waiting for us each day that we stayed: various cheeses and fresh fruit to enjoy with our great Paso Robles wine. Bed linens were perfectly selected for the season. That said, we caught a great break from the normally very warm summer weather which allowed us to open the all of the casement windows (6 by my count) and enjoy natural breezes all night. Another VERY welcome surprise was no television in the room. So incredibly nice to enjoy each others company without the barrage of media!

The two breakfasts were both abundant and delicious. Great virgin Mary's to start a great morning as well. We both thoroughly enjoyed the, berries, melon and honey yogurt. Extraordinary mornings with the owner's and terrific family.

Ann and George are both friendly, gracious, informative (especially about the regional history) and honestly witty. We felt as though we had just found long, lost family during our brief morning visits. It was tough to leave on our last morning while there.

Totally worth it.

About us and our trip: Married couple (42 and 37) enjoying a birthday weekend.

My wife and I stayed at Ann & George's B&B for our 19th anniversary trip. This is the most awesome place we have ever stayed! Ann and George are both wonderful - very friendly and the best hosts ever. Each day start off with a terrific home cooked breakfast including fresh fruit from the area. The breakfast also included a lovely conversation sharing their great experiences from the bay area and around the world. Their home and view of the vineyard is beautiful. They offered a lot of great suggestions on places to eat and some of their favorite wineries. In addition, they shared a bottle of syrah wine that George made. The experience here was even better than all of the wonderful reviews that have been posted! If you are in the Paso Robles area I highly recommend this B&B. You will not be disappointed!

I've stayed at about a half dozen other B&B's in Paso, and this place is the best. Ann and George are wonderful people to start. Their home is lovely and their hospitality is even better. The view is like nothing else. As we took our kids; wine drinking age, so the 4 of us stayed in the loft. There was plenty of room. Upon arrival there was a bottle of wine and cheese, crackers, fruit and nuts in our room. The breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed the conversation with Ann and George and the other guests. The next day - more cheese and George opened a bottle of wine from their own vineyards. Besides the weather in Paso getting quite warm in the day, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would most certainly be back and recommend this place to others. Just one note, having 2 additional people in our room up'd the price 100 per night, so not cheap. FYI - Hearst castle is about 45 minute drive and worth the trip. FYII - The dirt road up to the house is actualy quite nice and no issue.

You have to experience Ann and George's B&B to understand how wonderful it truly is. After a beautiful drive to their home, we stepped through the door only to feel as if we've been friends forever. Ann and George are gracious, accommodating, warm, friendly, humorous and that's just the tip of the iceberg. They have had a life time full of great stories and it makes me want to be just like them when I'm grown up, except that I'm already grown up. Their home is immaculate and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable with wonderful soft sheets that make you want to stay in bed, except their land and vineyards are too beautiful to not want to explore.

Just returned home from an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at Ann and George's Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel right at home. Ann and George were fabulous host, they are such a fun and friendly couple! Our Breakfast each morning was scrumptious and we enjoyed starting our day sharing a meal and lively conversation with our host and fellow guest!! The views were amazing from the back patio. So relaxing to sit and enjoy the view and watch the bird bath and all the birds around. Would recommend this Bed and Breakfast and hope to be able to stay again soon. Bless you George and Ann for making our 23 anniversary such a memorable occasion!!! P.S. The wine is wonderful too!

Room Tip: The guest room is the option for a couple with a private entrance.

The experience in a word was lovely. Anne and George are such gracious host. I was in Pase Robles to celebrate my friends 50th. After a day at the wineries we sat on the patio that overlooked the estate and enjoyed more wine and watched the sunset. We were all so relaxed.
Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Anne and George told stories of the area and their lives as we all did. The laughter and the hospitality that filled the house will not be forgotten.
Thank you for a lovely time Anne and George.
