Our stay began with a gorgeous trip through vineyards to the top of the hill where we met Ann and George, whose company you could not help but enjoy. Their home is private and secluded with wonderful views. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and accommodating with a bottle of wine, fruit, and other tasty treats awaiting you upon arrival. Our days started with a breakfast you won't find any better anywhere, followed by wine tasting at local vineyards that all like knowing you are from Ann and George's. But, the best part of our stay was the feeling of being at home and enjoying time spent with special people. You will not want to leave!

Ann and George's is undoubtedly the best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed at. I took my wife and our two children (ages 3 and 9) to Ann and George's for my wife's birthday, and we had a great time. Here are a just few of the many details we loved about our stay:

-A bottle of wine, fresh fruit, homemade cookies and excellent cheese and crackers in our room when we arrived.
-A fantastic breakfast both mornings!
-We drove up to the Monterey Aquarium, and Ann packed us a cooler full of drinks and snacks for the drive
-Wonderful conversations with our amazing hosts
-Secluded and quiet location and a beautiful home
-The best view in Paso Robles! -the pictures don't do it justice
-Many, many more....

Ann and George were fantastic hosts - they were great with our children and even let our son help pick fresh lemons from their tree to go with breakfast. It was so relaxing that my wife said she didn't even remember she was another year older until our trip home. We will be returning soon!

It would probably be better for us to give this place a bad review (then we wouldn't have to worry about it being booked when we want to visit!) but we just can't. This B&B was chosen for a moms getaway and it was so wonderful to let someone else take care of us for once. Ann & George definitely fit that bill! Snacks upon arrival, the most wonderful breakfast food, and overall hospitality made this a stop we will definitely revisit .

Three "lady" friends met at Ann & George's for two nights of "girl talk." Can you imagine finding a B & B with three separate beds in one room? We were lucky to be in the "dorm room" - unlike any dorm room I've ever seen - and had a fabulous time. George and Ann were so warm and welcoming that we really didn't want to leave. Each morning we were served the most "gourmet" breakfasts, of course we didn't want to leave. We took their advice and visited the wineries they recommended which were fabulous. What fun it was to learn about the beautiful wines of California's Central Coast. We hope to meet there next year to once again enjoy Ann & George's magnificent Bed & Breakfast. You'll love it too! Ann and George are so sweet and hospitable! Very informative and helpful! Nice cozy home, once you get to your room you never want to leave. Wonderful breakfast's, awesome hosts. Very welcoming, and a delightful stay. There's so much to learn from Ann and George, for example; caves, you have to go back! Definitely a hidden treasure!

This is a delightful place-- from the beauty of the B&B to the lovely (and fully appointed rooms) to breakfast without compare. Ann and George are the perfect hosts: so friendly and so knowledgeable and so willing to share that knowledge of the beautiful surrounding wine country : wineries, restaurants, shops, etc. I must add that as we were taken to our room there was a lovely bottle of wine plus hordouvres waiting for us. I was there with 2 lady friends, but will definitely go back with my husband. Jane Meek, 631 Shadowhawk Way, Walnut Creek, Ca. 94595

Ann and George seem quite a bit younger than their years and their mutual love of people comes through at all times. If I were writing fiction I couldn't make up a couple as personable, warm and accomodating as these two. Like another reviewer, I felt somewhat reluctant to write a review, wanting to keep this wonderful secret to myself. So please read on but let's keep it on the down low.

With unbeatable views in serene surroundings, Ann & George's B&B is a human aerie with all the comforts of home. This is without a doubt the quietest place we've ever stayed. We spent 3 nights nesting in the cushy confines of the queen-sized bed in the guest cottage (attached to the house but with a separate entrance). This lovely room is large enough to allow you spread your wings--and your things.

The main house is large and inviting especially with the fire going in the living room which gently toasts you while you take in the vineyard panorama and well beyond.

Breakfasts are vast and delicous. Apparently Ann & George's goal is to fill you up so you have a some backing when you go out for wine-tasting/running/biking/hiking. It works! With A&G's breakfasts, you are properly prepared for any adventure.

Personal favorites:
The cat, Schizo and the outdoor shower. YES, that's correct. The al fresco shower. It was the end of December and we were able to shower outside! Wow. We can't wait to try it again in warmer weather! We will be back.

Oh...and did I mention the QUIET?! Ahhh....

Please be advised that it's best to show up in daylight hours. The drive up at night can be daunting if you're trying it for the first time. And be sure to use the directions off the website, GPS is not reliable in them thar parts.
