This place is fabulous-the rooms are well appointed, comfortable and luxurious! The wines, Mondo Cellars, are all great-small cases per year, which makes for a great turnover and variety. The Sunset Happy Hours on Fridays during the summer are the place to be...live music, cook-to-order appetizers, and a great crowd that quickly become friends.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this B&B in Paso Robles on our way up to northern California and it was beyond amazing. Mondo is a bit off the beaten path but 100% worth the drive. The B&B is on top of a hill overlooking the valley with a fabulous 360 degree view. The guestrooms are beautiful and cozy. The hosts, Rod and Mitch, were friendly and more than accommodating. We were given a happy hour with delicious wine tasting and appetizers the night of our arrival. We were also able to enjoy their Friday night happy hour and band. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this B&B, the hosts or the wine! We will absolutely stay here again and we can't wait for our first wine club shipment.

My fiance and I stayed at Villa nel Mondo during the week, and we got an excellent deal on the Tuscany suite ($165/night+17.25%tax). The room was very luxurious, super clean, and the bed was sooo comfortable. We loved soaking in the tub and then showering in the really awesome walk in shower. The views from the room's large windows and from the top of the hill where the B&B is located were just spectacular, and we saw the most beautiful sunset one night. Breakfast was incredible - so much food, from a local bakery in downtown Paso Robles. The quiche and almond pastries were to die for. The complimentary wine tasting upon arrival was fun as well! Definitely recommended for a romantic getaway.

My husband and I frequent Paso Robles for business and we are always looking for new places, new experiences. Mondo Cellars Winery and B&B is definately a place to go to just relax. The location sits on top of the hill where you have beautiful views no matter where you look. The Innkeeper Rod and owners Mitch and Doug were just terrific people and just so laid back. Feels like you are hanging out with just good friends. We stayed in the Tuscany room. Beautifully decorated with a very comfy king size bed. We arrived Friday evening just in time to enjoy live music on the back patio, met alot of the locals and just had a fabulous time. Doug, Mitch and their staff were very accomodating. We were definately well taken care of. They also just started having live music on Saturdays as well. Bring your own picnic and enjoy on the patio. You can also bring whatever meat selection you like and bbq as well. Starts around 5 til sunset. Breakfast in the morning is pretty awesome as well. Rod had a variety of cereals, pastries, a mix of delicious fruits and a few different quiches to choose from. Alot to eat! if you havent tried their wines, you really need to. They have wonderful red and white blends to choose from. I enjoy all of them my favorite being their Rose'. The overall atmosphere at Mondo is just relaxful with a very laid back vibe. We will be back. This is a must see!

We have stayed at many all over the country (2 others in Paso) and this wins hands down. Rod, Mitch and Doug were great company as we settled into the Tuscany. Rod had a huge spread of treats as well as tastings of their wines to welcome us. The view is magical and the sunsets can't be beat. Rod has a breakfast with fresh quiche, fruit, juices, pastries, and lots of coffee. We skipped lunch and didn't miss it. Their wines are excellent and we are looking forward to their wine club's first shipment. Location, comfortable surroundings, and personality. We will be back!
