This was the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The three course gourmet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room, "room with a view" was beautiful and the view was breathtaking! Another plus of the room is you have two sets of double doors separating you from the rest of the house so it feels completely private. They offered us lovely snacks with a personal wine tasting as well which was a major plus. These people have class. They treat you like actual house guests without invading your privacy. Couldn't recommend it more!

Dave and Karina have a good thing going - they know it - and they are happy to share it with you. The gorgeous views, beautiful grounds, high-end accommodations, and gourmet breakfasts are enough to make this one of the best stays we have had. Add Dave and Karina's warmth and hospitality and this place becomes truly one of a kind.

Just got back from the most enjoyable stay at Seven Quails - located a few miles from downtown Paso Robles and close to all the area wineries. The B & B is up on a hilltop - with views that are amazing. The first morning my breath was taken away when I looked out at the valley below - the hills in the distance, all covered in a light mist - just magical. There are only two rooms at the place - making it intimate and yet relaxed. We were in the Sunnyside room. The room was spacious, comfy, bright, nice artwork, and nice bathroom. I would have preferred the other room but it was already reserved when we booked. It turned Sunnyside was just fine for the two of us.
The best part of this place are the hosts - Dave and Karina are about the best B & B hosts we've ever experienced - attentive but not intrusive, caring, GREAT cooks (OMG - the breakfasts!!!). They just know how to make your stay perfect. We were so fortunate too that the other couple at the inn while we were there were incredibly nice and we enjoyed sharing info about which wineries to check out, restaurant tips, etc.
Don't miss staying at this unique B & B - (extra bonus: seeing owls, deer, amazing stars at night) plus it's a good value for what you get, I don't write reviews often but this place deserves another accolade! We'll definitely be back. Thanks Dave and Karina!!

If you love escaping to peaceful, hilltop vistas surrounded by grape vines and wildlife then this will be your best choice for a destination as it, likewise, was ours.
If you prefer an enjoyable "chef" in the kitchen carefully preparing gourmet breakfasts' instead of a cook, then , like us, you will be happily surprised how yummy everything tastes!
If you delight in fresh flowers throughout, comfortable furnishings, upscale appointed bath fixtures, and fabulous views without leaving your bed, then you too will love Seven Quails!
By the time we left, we felt like we had stayed with friends because it was such a welcoming experience.

Can't say enough good things about our stay. Dave & Karina were gracious hostesses and we had the perfect quiet weekend. House and grounds were beautiful! We stayed in A Room With a View and it was perfect. View was stunning, comfy bed, roomy, and bathroom was amazing. They really though of every detail. And the 3 course breakfasts were the best meals we had in Paso, by far. Will def come back and recommend to friends!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2 nights at Seven Quails, and can confirm the previous guests' reviews as being accurate and right on. We joined up with friends from the Bay Area for a little wine tasting and R&R, and this was definately the place to be. David suggested some wonderful wineries we might otherwise have missed, the accommodations are lovely and comfortable, the food creative and delicious, and Karina and David the perfect hosts. We enjoyed all aspects of our experience and will look forward to our next visit.

Seven Quails Vineyards B&B was one of the best, if not the best B&B experience we have had in 20 years of travel. It sits atop a commanding hill surrounded by vineyards with 360 degree views in a rural and quiet area 3.5 miles from downtown Paso Robles. The home is spacious and tastefully appointed with eclectic art and relaxing lounge areas. The Room with a View, where we stayed a week, is private with a plush bathroom and light-blocking shades that let you sleep-in if you choose. The hosts, Karina & David provide just the right amount of attention and downright pampering w/o being intrusive. The three-course gourmet breakfasts are fantastic. We and other guests could not resist taking pictures of the culinary creations before diving in. Any negatives? the place is off the main road about 3/4ths of a mile with a couple of turns but the directions provided (w/pictures) before you arrive make it easy to find. The breakfasts, which start at 9, can take some time but if you need, David & Karina will give you an earlier start time and/or pack up a to-go box for your third course. Paso Robles has excellent wineries and David, as a grower and local winemaker, knows which ones are the artisinal houses that are making the best wines. In the spirit of the past Governator of California we say, "We'll be Baach".
