Although a bit out of the way ( and a bit expensive) , Orchard Hill was a perfect place for a relaxing weekend. We stayed for two nights in the Countryside Room. The room was beautifully furnished and had a deck overloooking the rolling countryside. Although we were in the area to visit family and do some wine tasting we enjoyed just hanging around at Orchard Hill in front of the fireplace playing Scrabble with a glass of wine.

Orchard Hill is a treat. It sits on a hill in a lovely remote-feeling setting without being either too hard to find or too far from the top restaurants and wineries. The two rooms in the Carriage House are spacious and decorated in graceful detail (there's a well-stocked kitchen with wine in the fridge and a celestial telescope in one of the closets to view the myriad stars of dark country nights); the cooking is first rate; the breakfast music is Vivaldi; the owners are knowledgeable about the top-rated Paso wineries and restaurants, and, best of all, they are charming and hospitable, Our group of four mature adults would return again., again...and again.

We recently spent two wonderful nights at the Orchard Hill Farm in Paso Robles. We had just reluctantly left the Carmel area and couldn't have been more surprised at the incredible beauty of Paso Robles. The B&B was wonderful, and Debby and Doug the best possible hosts. Lovely rooms, great breakfasts, great conversation, beautiful setting. In fact, when we had our fabulous dinner at the Justin Winery (in Deborah's Room), they told us that Orchard Hill Farm had an even better view than they did. When we headed off to the wineries, Debby packed us a picnic basket to make sure we made it through the day. She knew everyone in the area, and everyone knew her. Her recommendations on places to dine, wines to try, and things to do were impeccable. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

We had wonderful time at Orchard Hill Farm last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful location and we were overwhelmed by the views. Doug and Debbie are such wonderful host that we felt comfortable and relaxing the whole time. Since we didn't know anything about wine, it was very helpful to talk to the hosts and other guest over breakfast. It made our visit at Paso Robles so much more special. We are looking forward to visiting Orchard Hill Farm again very soon.

Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast, I was a little unsure as to what to expect. That said, I could not have been more pleased. Doug and Debbie were fabulous hosts -- the rooms were luxurious and comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, and our hosts helpful and friendly while still managing to give us plenty of space. They had excellent suggestions for restaurants and wineries. I highly recommend Orchard Hill Farm, and am already looking in to when I can schedule my next trip there.

My wife and I stayed at this remarkable place for two days at the end of October. We took a few days off from our home in Los Angeles to enjoy the rolling hills of Paso Robles.

What we did not expect was the kindness and warm greeting we experienced form the host and hostess. Doug and Debbie treated us as long time friends and did everthing possible to make us feel at home. We arrived at our room with a bottle of wine ,drinking water and cake to welcome us. Our room was large and comfortable

The next morning we sat down to an excellent breakfast..

Debbie arranged for a winery tour as well as complimentary wine tasting. She also helped me plan several driving tours to better enjoy the area. When we told her we planned on going to Cambria on our way home, she recommended an alternative route. Thanks you Debbie, it was great.

I enjoyed chatting with Doug about why and when they started their B & B. They are truly an outstanding couple.

After a spectacular introduction to Orchard Hill Farm B&B in June, 2007, we had the opportunity to return in October. We jumped at the chance. Boy, were we glad we did.

In October, the weather in Paso Robles had cooled and while the mornings held a little chill, the afternoons still had the punch of the heat of the summer. The weather was terrific, very condusive to our travel plans.

Deborah and Doug of Orchard Hill welcomed us back with open arms. For this trip, we stayed in the Countryside room, in the building behind the main house. At the top of the stairs we were greeted by the wagging tail of Bean, who also welcomed us back warmly. The second story was light and airy and featured a full kitchen, tables and chairs along with a comfortable living room setting, filled with chairs and couches that you could sink into and let the afternoon slip by while you put your feet up and sipped wine to your heart's content.

Our room had a wonderful balcony overlooking the mountains and the vast vineyards of the Denner Winery, directly across the street. Peaceful and glorious at the same time. Our bedroom was filled with antiques, pillows, chairs, and the whole vibe immediately whispered comfort to us.

We welcomed the opportunity to relax and felt that our trip in June was no fluke. Great hosts, meticulously landscaped grounds, wonderful food and tasteful rooms make the Orchard Hill Farm B&B a deserving choice for repeated visits. Clearly, one of the best B&Bs in all of Paso Robles.
