My wife and I enjoyed are stay at Orchard Hill. We particularly enjoyed the bottle of wine and cheese plate on arrival - a nice touch. The breakfasts were delicious and the accommodations were excellent. The B & B is out in the middle of Paso Robles wine country on Vineyard Drive and a good 15 minutes from town, so it was peaceful and quiet. We had the Garden room, which was large and nicely decorated. We did not have the same contact as other reviewers with Debbie and Doug as they were getting ready to leave for France. Nevertheless, we were treated very well and enjoyed our stay. Beautiful countryside.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Garden Room. Plenty of space and it was peaceful overlooking the garden.

I can't say enough good things about the accommodations, the breakfasts and the wonderful owners of Orchard Hill Farm. Deborah and Doug were warm and welcoming and gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and wineries. The breakfasts - made from ingredients from their garden and their eggs - was always tasty and fresh. We stayed in the Garden View room and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was quiet and peaceful with plenty of space. Beautifully appointed - it felt like home - even down to the exquisite "Comphy" brand sheets on the bed. The pictures on their website do NOT do it justice. There are so many lovely places to sit on the property it is hard to pick just one so we had to try them all! Being animal lovers, we enjoyed seeing the daily parade of deer and wild turkey nearby. And - for us - the icing on the cake was their darling little tuxedo cat, Grace. She greets everyone and loves to escort you around the property or sit on your lap while you enjoy a glass of wine and a good book. Fabulous place! Go!

My husband and I just stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast 2 weeks ago. We highly recommend it. It is situated on top of a rolling hill right in the middle of wine country with gorgeous views. We spent a good amount of time on our balcony marveling at the surrounding countryside and enjoying the wine and cheese platter provided by our hosts Doug and Debbie Thomsen. The Tomsen's attention to detail made our trip so enjoyable, from the chocolates in the room to the comfortable sheets and bedding to the beautiful sitting room. We loved talking with Debbie who is so knowledgeable about the "what to do and where to goes". Both Doug and Debbie are amazing hosts, we enjoyed them so much. We are definitely coming back!

We have stayed in many B&B's across the US and in other countries. It doesn't get any better than this one. We stayed in the Countryside room, with a view over the vineyards. It was lovely. For us, the best and most memorable part of our stay was Debbie. She is warm-hearted, open, charming, interesting, helpful, and gracious. She is a great source of information about the area. Delighful welcoming cheese plate with wine and a wonderful breakfast.

Our stay at the Orchard Hill Farm B&B exceeded all our expectations. Its a beautiful, serene farmhouse lovingly managed by Debbie and Doug Thomsen. Debbie and Doug went above and beyond the call of duty to assure that our stay was truly exceptional. From the gorgeous furnishings and silky linens, to an exceptional wine and cheese presentation, we truly felt pampered during our 3-day stay. We especially loved Debbie's gourmet breakfasts with Doug's signature blended "house" juice. We found the location of the B&B to be outstanding as it was central to all wineries and downtown Paso Robles. All in all, a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: We loved our Garden View room. It has a separate entrance, a balcony which feels like you are in a...

Just got home from Paso Robles and wish we could have of stayed longer at Orchard Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast! We booked 2 nights, with 2 suites, and were also able to visit with our friends in the adjoining great room that had a kitchen, fireplace, and a deck with great views of surrounding wineries. There were 2 bottles of wine and a cheese platter waiting for us when we got there, which was perfect after a long drive. And slices of delicious lemon cake for dessert in the evening, or with coffee in the morning. The rooms are gorgeous with comfy beds, and the breakfast was a culinary treat served on beautiful china with antique silver, and lovely linens. The owners Debbie and Doug are so charming and could not have been better hosts. They helped with dinner and winery suggestions, and even provided a darling picnic basket for one of our lunches. Their home and the surrounding gardens are visually stunning, which made it very difficult to leave there and go wine tasting! Can't wait to go back...Hopefully this Fall!

This was exactly what I was looking for - a perfectly located, perfectly picturesque, perfectly peaceful B&B in wine country. There are several rooms - a few in a renovated barn, and a few in the main house. I believe each have private patios overlooking the beautiful land and rolling country for a very rural feel - the Fireside room certainly did. Honestly I would have been happy on the patio with a book and a glass of wine my entire trip, but wine tasting beckoned! All the rooms in the barn share a living, kitchen area, and one extra patio area as well - making me think it would have been perfect for a group trip as well. I stayed in the Fireside Room, the picture made it look on the small side but it was perfectly sized with lots of closet and bathroom space, plus the patio and shared living area. If I had to make one complaint, it was a tiny bit more expensive than I would have liked to pay - but the innkeepers add a lot of value with a beautiful breakfast, a welcome bottle of wine and cheese plate, even lending us a picnic basket to picnic throughout the day, and great local advice that make it more than worth it!
