“Nothing Fancy, Decent Reds”
Reviewed 31 July 2012

I enjoyed their reds, but I didn't find the wines they were pushing (The Monsters) that great. Had to climb a steep set of stairs to get to the tasting room, didn't see a handicap access or elevator.

“Fabulous experience for first-timers in Paso wine country!”
Reviewed 29 December 2011

Two of the cutest and friendliest cats greeted us...topped only by the incredibly knowledgable and welcoming hostess who led us through the tasting process and made us feel at home in the cozy, rustic tasting room. We decided to choose this winery after having dined at Tognazilla's in Morro Bay. The server recommended the Norman Pinot Grigio to us and we loved it. We ended up buying their excellent Monster Zinfandel and the late harvest red. It was an extremely pleasant experience. We didn't feel like tourists, but rather like guests in a lovely home. As the other reviewer remarked, "it is a hidden gem."

“Hidden Gem!”
Reviewed 9 June 2011

Dining in Paso Robles we sampled the Norman Monster Zinfandel. It was so incredible that we added Norman to our list of wineries to visit. It is out of the way on smaller roads but it is well worth the trip. We tasted the Monster and their other fine Zinfandels and then moved on to the excellent Cabernet Sauvignons. In the end we joined their wine club which the highest praise we can offer. The staff is open and friendly. They also have a nice picnic area on their deck.
