This is a real traditional Irish/Scottish style pub with great pub grub and selection of brews you might find in Dublin's Temple Bar district. If you even want just near-beer they have the best, which is Kaliber, made by Guinness (a bit malty but a great taste). They have "Newkie Broon" (Newcastle Brown Ale) and "Smith-icks" (Smithwicks Irish Ale) and other tasty concoctions. A lively place with a big back fenced-in and heated patio as well as a railed-in sidewalk dining/drinking area. One co-owner, I'm told, is Irish/Mexican and the other Scottish/Mexican, so you have the best of both (or all three) worlds. The place explodes on St. Paddy's Day. I saw Ron Jeremy standing in line to get in during the Mid-State Fair. A brilliant pub that always draws in visiting Brits too.
