“Can't wait to come back”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

Such a fantastic and magical escape! We booked the extraordinary Antoni Gaudi loft for my birthday and several nights later we are still dreaming about it. This unique suite is on three levels with a ground floor bedroom (comfy) plus bathroom (made entirely of rock with a rock pool tub and a hobbit entry door), a sleeping perch (which we climbed through) and a secret turret accessed by a curvy custom wrought iron ladder. It was in the turret that we spent my birthday with a couple bottles of wine (and the pillows from the loft) working on a creative project which made for an exceptional day. Bring your writing assignments, music notes, manuscripts, sketches, yoga practice or meditations and open the functioning windows for a breeze. They'd have brought us dinner in if we'd asked for it; we only needed more paper and an ice bucket. The staff is excellent, personable and considerate.

The main house has a wonderful great room--living room + dining room (where the gourmet organic breakfast arrives around 9am)--filled with books, mid-century antiques and an oddity or two. We were able to see the other suites between bookings and already have our eye on the Carlo Molino: The light, the balcony, the back stairwell the secret tequila stash -- all good. Or maybe the Maria Sabina overlooking that incredible oak tree at the height of summer. Heck at Inn Paradiso we'd probably be happy in the storage barn -- can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: The Antoni Gaudi suite is for artists and escapists--you have to be comfortable with the uncommon an...

Green Features: Super environmentally friendly. Not even a plastic tub for breakfast leftovers to-go; we were given a glass dish to borrow. How cool is that?

We are overjoyed that you had such a wonderful time here. Thank you so much for staying with us. We are thrilled you were able to use the lookout room to finish your creative work. It was lovely having you in the Gaudi suite and we would have been more than happy to bring you dinner...next time! Thank you for your kind review and we look forward to your return to one of the other beautiful rooms.

Inn Paradiso is a magical place, close to town, yet worlds apart. There are so many objects d'art to find in every nook and cranny. Steve, the owner, has filled the public spaces with thought provoking and unusual repurposed items while the private rooms are luxuriously spacious. There is no way to really appreciate what a unique place this is without experiencing it. I have never seen anything like it! Amazing and romantic. The innkeepers, Colleen and Tanner, were extremely helpful by advising us where to go for exceptional wine tasting and planning our itinerary to see other local sites, like Hearst Castle, Sebastians, the elephant seals, and the monarch butterflies. They would have helped us in any way they could while remaining professionally respectful and courteous. It truly deserves that 5 star rating!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Sabina suite. It felt like I was taking a bath in the top of an oak tree! Lovely.

Green Features: The delicious food is locally sourced and organic and very healthy! There are reminders for recycling and reusing. Almost all of the building materials and decorations are repurposed.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay, as well as, the itinerary we put together for you. Hearst Castle is truly an incredible place. Sleeping in the Maria Sabina suite is such a wonderful experience, with the huge oak tree right outside the double doors. We truly look forward to your next stay when you can continue exploring the common areas, discovering more objects d’art. Thank you for your kind review.

We were fortunate to receive a gift of a weekend at the Inn Paradiso. It was a short four hour drive from LA, and when we arrived, the innkeeper helped us to our room and showed us the fireplace, french press coffee maker and told us about breakfast (which she made) the next morning. The bed was heavenly and the whole place is super quiet. A perfect antidote to Los Angeles, We toured the Paso Robles wine country the next day, and after a luxurious afternoon nap, enjoyed a beautiful dinner in front of the main fire place. Every nook and cranny of this custom built inn is worthy of a second look. It is unlike any place we have been. Close to the town center, but far enough up a hill to feel very secluded.

Thank you so much for staying with us. We enjoyed having you immensely and we are thrilled your stay was so relaxing - being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. You seemed to truly enjoyed the dinner and GetAway package that was given to you. Chatting with you two was certainly the highlight of my weekend. We wish you luck in your charity!

Recently spent a family holiday after Cjristmas at Inn Paradiso and again they achieved perfection. The rooms are the best, the breakfast each day is terrific, and the staff is thoughtful and attentive. Really, we cannot recommend this place (located in one of our favorite places in the world.....Paso Robles) highly enough.

Room Tip: Each room is a unique gem.

A charming and beautiful BB with great food to sum it up. This gorgeous 5 star hotel is nestled in a stunningly beautiful landscape that takes you away to the country. My husband and I could not help but notice all the tasteful surprises like strolling around the hotel and finding great places to just hang out tucked in everywhere, tequila tastings as if left just for us (and probably wwere), bath salts ready to be spooned into giant spa tub inside our suite, soft sheets, & tasteful decor - this BB is a true treasure.

Room Tip: Our room was wonderful. It was facing a beautiful oak tree so that when we sat in the spa tub big e...

Inn Paradiso is an exceptional b&b, the unique architecture and space are complemented by the great landscaping and location. The hosts and owner were friendly, interesting, and ready to help us get the most out of our time in Paso Robles. The breakfast was a gourmet delight. Our suite perfectly appointed, with a big spa tub and french doors opening onto sweeping views.
